Paphos for all season Holidays.

Advantages: It is very friendly, drive on the Left hand side, and mostly speak English
Disadvantages: You can't lay on the beaches in the winter, and the evenings are cold.

car park is now one way in - one way out. leaving the sea front safe and clean. I can honestly say that the promanade now competes with the South of France. So to continue on with the review of Paphos I will leave you to read on..... Paphos is Ideal for all year round holidays. Many thinks so but there are some unlucky holiday makers that have come here in the winter, are really disappointed. Honestly I can't blame them either. Unless you know what to do and where to go. it can be really boring, looking drab, and even the beaches don't look very special. Many of the harbour shops are closed and other stores are nor fully stocked. I would however like to address the balance. Paphos can be wonderful any time of year, but in the winter you need to go to the right Hotels, in the right part of town. I do not recommend a holiday ...

Rent a holiday villa

Advantages: Free issue - 404 pages! WOW!
Disadvantages: Its all Adverts - except for........

I picked this magazine up at Morrisons supermarket where the free car mags are. Its hard to believe this issue is free! The retail price of £2.75 is crossed out. 404 pages, A4, full gloss colour all the way through, pictures on every page - non of those naff extremly poor paper bits you find in other free mags. This is a holiday magazine and it shows. Its oozing feel good factor. The front colour cover picture is very attractive, a superb holiday location. The text on the front is informative and refers to editorials inside the mag. It opens with a welcome address from the editor, a brief overview of the mags contents', the contents page, and the villa finder, then some news items. Everything is positive, positive. Your holiday almost starts here! Articles inside this magazine include an article on Menorca - nicely written ...

James Villa Holidays

Advantages: Great properties, unique experiences, wonderful holidays.
Disadvantages: None - although might not be suitable for all travelers

Over the past 3 years we have used James Villa Holidays six times. Our initial experience was in Gale, Algarve; we went on to stay in La Font, Pollença, Mallorca three times; and more recently have stayed at La Boheme in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote and Forteza in Kalami, Crete. Our first taste of James Villas was in a 2 bedroom apartment in Gale, Algarve. The apartment itself was spacious and well maintained, with a large patio, fully equipped kitchen and TV/Satellite unit in the comfortable living room. Although the choice of English-language channels was limited, one doesn?t generally go on holiday to sit in front of the idiot box, and as we understand a modicum of German, the German MTV channel was most entertaining.
