Good value for money

Advantages: clean rooms, friendly staff
Disadvantages: far from a good beach

I visited the Diana Palace hotel with my boyfriend in July 2006 for 1 week and we really enjoyed our holiday. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our room. The room were clean and towels changed and rooms cleaned daily. However the bathroom wasn't that great in my opinion, but I was told it was pretty much the typical standard in Greece. ...board so our breakfast and dinner at night was included. The food was served buffet style and we could always make a meal out of what was there. The food was mainly Greek style. Tzante Hotel - Cheap, Fantastic pool bar, party resort

Advantages: Cheap, Fantastic pool bar, party resort
Disadvantages: noisy, basic

The hotel itself is your typical 18-30s resort, Noisy, full of chavs and very very basic. In my opinion you get what you pay for, we paided £245 for 2 weeks accomodation, flights and transfers! It's location however is fantastic and the pool bar is a major plus. Zante Maris Hotel

Advantages: Good standard/near the beach
Disadvantages: pool beds reserved at early times

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the first time this year.We visited for 2 weeks in June. This was our 7th visit to the resort so we knew about this hotel having seen it being built. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis but other deals are available. First impressions always count and on arrival at the hotel [3 hrs late] we were greeted by a cheerful member of staff even though it was 10 at night. The room itself was on the bottom floor ...

Review of Zante Maris Hotel, Tsilivi, Zakynthos

Perfect complex for families and couples

Advantages: Close to shops and fairly flat, ideal for walking.
Disadvantages: Not many restaurants around, too far to walk to Tsilivi

Myself and my family spent a week in October 2006 during the half term break at Maistrali. The Maistrali Apartments are situated in the resort of Tragaki in Zakynthos (Zante). Went on holiday by accident.

Advantages: Makes Blackpool Look Good.

...some seven days in the Tsilivi Beach Hotel and although clean, this was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I read another review where a lady describes having her wedding ring stolen from her room; she also describes the hotel staff laughing at her when she reported it. This really doesn't surprise me, when I complained about a (processed) cheese sandwich being garnished with a pubic hair and a two year old child playing by the swimming pool, unsupervised ...
...an extortionate price from the Tsilivi beach Hotel's own supermarket (they insist you use this so called facility on a leaflet almost warning that using other supermarkets is against hotel rules). Not that there's anything wrong with coming from Blackpool you understand, indeed, if it wasn't for the absence of a tawdry piece of scaffold shaped like the Eiffel tower and the good weather one could be mistaken for thinking one was in Blackpool.
