My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the first time this year.We visited for 2 weeks in June. This was our 7th visit to the resort so we knew about this hotel having seen it being built. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis but other deals are available.
First impressions always count and on arrival at the hotel [3 hrs late] we were greeted by a cheerful member of staff even though it was 10 at night.
The room itself was on the bottom floor [we'd asked for an upper floor] but we could see the sea if we stood up.[sea view paid for]
The restaurant was only 2 minutes walk from our room and a lift was available if so required.
First impression of the restaurant was ok and all through our stay we had no reason to complain. Our friends and others however had a run in with a grumpy chef at the evening meals on more than one occasion. The breakfast was both english and continental style and was well prepared. My pet gripe at breakfast was seeing lots of people taking food away in bags. One woman even putting bacon and eggs into a plastic bag.
The evening entertainment was a bit amateurish and at the end of 2 weeks we were fed up of hearing 'Elvis'
The bars were ok but as usual the hotel prices were higher than local bars. Our choice was that we drunk out the majority of nights.
The rooms were normal standard with air conditioning but ours broke down three times and at set times the hotel closed down the system as it just could not cope. The hotel handyman was very good and pleasant in his manner. The reception staff were also pleasant to speak to despite the fact that I must have been one of many disgruntled customers phoning in re the air conditioning.
The swimming pool is kept clean and there are plenty of free beds however as usual you have to be up at around 5 am to beat the ENGLISH [not GERMANS] in putting towels on the beds. The hotel signs say no reserving but they don't observe this rule.
As we were slightly lazy and more relaxed in our ways we went to the beach and paid 6 euros for a parasol and 2 beds.[cheaper than Tenerife and Majorca]
We would definately book this hotel again as it met our needs

Must have been very stuffy without the air conditioning. Agree with COOOEEE about the paragraphs and also will pop back if you edit the review. Riss
