Advantages: Wonderful beaches, and countryside and great food.
Disadvantages: Some beaches are inaccessable to some people due to steep climbs down, and back up cliffs.

...I have to disagree with Walshies comment and agree with LJJames. There are many bungalows on the Gower Holiday village, about 70 I think. I believe you can book directly with the holiday village, which may well be what Walshies did, to get his poor accomodation, but there are many bungalows that are privately owned, one of which we booked. See www.number62.co.uk. No. 62 was very comfortable indeed. The beds are the best I have every slept in away from home, like marshmellows! The crockery and pots and pans were the quality in any normal home, and not junk bought from a thrift shop. The whole ambiance was modern, clean, functional and welcoming, and it truly was a pleasure to stay there. ...Holiday Village,Benalmadena-Costa del sol, stayed 2 weeks from 14 july 2007 Flight 2 and a half hours with First Choice was short and on time so really good as I hate flying!! Transfer From Malaga airport it takes about half an hour to transfer to the hotel, it is on the outskirts of Benalmadena. Check-in If you fill out the registration form on your transfer it is quick and easy. The staff were curtious and pleasant at all times. Hotel set half way between Benalmadena and Fuengirola and not good for a stroll into either, its too far from both ,catch a bus! The Living Room Well this was my first let-down, as before we went away we had heard there was building work going on at the back of the hotel and also at the beach club where most of the pools are located. ...After my marriage I and my husband went to Goa for a holiday. We have booked the room in Taj Holiday Village through a Travel Agency. Although My husband has researched a bit about the place on internet, but the real surprise was when we reached hotel. Our flight from Delhi-Goa reached Goa airport by the evening about 6:00 PM. Within about hour and half we were at the hotel by hotel cab which was waiting at airport for us. After reaching the hotel it took just two minutes to get the room that was booked by us. Then hotel staff took us to our room by small car. The cars are used because the hotel is a really big property. The Hotel on arrival gives the map of the property for ease of reach.
