130 km of piste, highest peak at 3000m, if you include the Kaprun area, therefore guaranteed snow, 40 km of artificial snow if needed. Skiing into the valley, superb bus connections, superb private accommodation near the lifts. Simply wonderful. The runs are very varied, ideal for beginners and experts, ideal for family. No queues at lifts, mostly chair lifts. We stayed at a private house to which we could ski at the end of the day and it was only a 5-minute walk to the lifts. We got by on around £1000 for five people for two weeks, which was excellent as this included five liftpasses, ski hire for two of us and all food and accommodation. Can't wait to go again.
