Advantages: Great food, excellent service, young dynamic team, charming and very original decor Disadvantages: booking in advance is recommended as they are usually pretty packed
...Located very near the canal St Martin, the Baxo is a new restaurant born from the collaboration and the imagination of 3 young restaurateurs eager to share their taste for refined cuisine with inventive savors.
In a resolutely "bobo" and absolutely original decor, we had the opportunity to taste on the terrace, the main dining room or the patio sumptuous meals in a cozy ambiance.
Service is excellent.
Baxo is also a bar lounge where a music definitively eclectico electro trendy leaded us till the end of the night in an intimate and very warm ambiance.
They have an authentic and generous cuisine and I recommend you taste their "Baked Camembert and its caramelized apples with cider", its "Duck with peaches" and its "Fusillis with morilles and asparagus tips".
They serve till 2am everyday except Sunday....

Advantages: Good regional French cuisine Disadvantages: Small restaurant so can be difficult to book

This family run restaurant is a joy to behold with a traditional french menu which favours the best of provencal cuisine. There is a menu in English for those who prefer not to eat with a dictionary in one hand and the prices are very reasonable.
The Patron is an amiable gent who prefers to distill spirits and liquers by hand measue, ensuring that ample quantities are forthcoming...

For the visitor who is interested in dining out, Kuala Lumpur (or KL) will prove to be an exclusive experience both in terms of the selection of culinary delights as well as in the wide choice of settings. You can dine out at posh hotels, restaurants, elegant chain restaurants, chic sidewalk cafes called 'warong', delicatessens or eat out at the many hawker stalls till the wee hours of the morning! Seriously!
~~Malay Cuisines - Malay cuisine is rich and spicy arising from the use of hard spices and a wet spice mixture of "rempah" and coconut milk. Malay cuisine varies from region to region. For example...
