Advantages Excellent prices; a chnage from the usual in Slovenia; lovely owners
Disadvantages Too many dishes with walnuts in for me

Now that we know the centre of Ljubljana really well, we try to go off piste when we visit, exploring the outlying districts. By doing this not only will you find some cheaper bars and restaurants and some really cool little independent stores, you’ll also get to see some of the great little bars that haven’t been stripped out and turned into ‘boutique’ bars with lots of glitz but very little personality.
