The best wurst in Zurich?
Advantages: Good atmosphere, reasonable prices Disadvantages: Crowded, noisy
The Zeughauskeller would not normally be my first choice of restaurant, but it didn't seem right to go, say, to an Italian restaurant in Zurich when I can so easily do so at home. It seemed more appropriate to go to a place that had traditional Swiss/German food along with the atmosphere. The Zeughauskeller is a reasonably priced eaterie situated on the famous Bahnhofstrasse, the street that runs from the central railway station down to Lake Zurich. ... ...outside tables were already occupied and a queue was rapidly forming at the door. It was difficult to see the menu without disturbing people at a particular table, but we soon found another just in the doorway. Prices seemed within our means, and there was a special summer menu printed in English as well as German. We waited a couple of minutes and then asked if there was a table for three. The waiting staff all understood English, but some seemed ...

Lunch by the Limmat
Advantages: Excellent location; reasonable prices for a major city Disadvantages: Limited menu
...in Zurich with tables outside, Cafe Wuhre is an ideal place to have lunch on a warm sunny day such as it was at the time of my visit. It was around 1.30pm and notices on the tables advertised lunch from 11am to 2pm only, so we thought we had better check that it was not too late. We asked a middle-aged waitress inside the cafe if she spoke English, but she indicated to us to wait and beckoned a younger waitress. When the younger one came over she ... ...previous day. Desserts at Cafe Wuhre seemed to revolve mainly around ice cream and cream, and we decided not to let ourselves be tempted. The location of Cafe Wuhre is perfect in fine weather if you are lucky enough to get a table from which you have a view of the river and the buildings on the eastern side of Zurich, notable the Grossmunster (cathedral) with its two towers. The interior of the cafe looked very comfortable with easy chairs, and original ...

Dinner with Genghis
Advantages: You really can eat as much as you want! Disadvantages: Drinks are a bit pricey
...that a trip to the Han Mongolian Barbecue is (thankfully) nothing like it. What you do have is a very enjoyable and filling night out, at prices that won’t break the bank, which is a rarity in Switzerland. I’ve been to the restaurants in Zurich and Basel-Riehen, and experience suggests that you should book in advance if you plan to eat there on a Friday or Saturday night, as this chain of eateries is rapidly gaining in popularity and ... ...There are branches of the Han chain in 9 towns across Switzerland, and the Zurich restaurant is easy to find. It is situated at Langstrasse 192 – which is pretty much in the middle of the red-light district, but have no fear, there are no ‘personal services’ on the menu at Han! Public transport is the best way to get about in Zurich, so just get the tram 4 or 13 to Limmatplatz, and the Mongolian is about 5 minutes walk down Langstrasse, ...

. computers good hahahaha
Advantages: yes Disadvantages: none
Aaaaahhhhh...computers.... If the mere word conjures up images of a spotty nerd in a labcoat picking his nose whilst typin furiously with his toes and discussing Einstein's theory of relativity...check the following out. If you get to the stage where you NEED a computer - but you don't want to get a)screwed b)irritated by tech support or c)like the nerd...then help is at hand You need to ask yourself three easy questions. How much money can I afford ... ...I'll use the computer for to start with? How???????!!!!!!!! All these questions tie together somewhat - but here is some answers in non- techno jargon! 1) Budget. An 'average' computer will cost, on 'average' about £700. That's an 'average'. You can get them for less, but you get exactly what you pay for as prices don't vary enormously for the bits that make up the computer. We'll come onto the other reasons why prices vary in a sec. 2)Usage. Have ...

Great Espresso
Advantages: Clean, great tasting espresso & sweets. Beautiful view to Lake Zurich Disadvantages: Wish I could be there all the time...Lighting is a bit bright
...Zurich, I loved going to cafe Sprungli throughout the day; especially early in the morning when the business professionals dashed in and out for a quick fix. It seems that the Swiss also love their cafe breaks which usually start around 10:30 a.m.and continue til closing around dinner time. Everything runs on time in Switserland, so remember to pay attention to clocks. The sweets are very fresh and the espresso is even better. If you have a problem ... ...watch; from young to old, the Swiss are very aware of fashion and style. I highly recommend this little treasure!!!!
P.S. Underneath your seat at Cafe Sprungli, are underground vaults filled with billions of dollars in material wealth and currency. You instantly feel like you belong. Enjoy ...
