I decided in January I would visit some friends in Scotland. As I did last year. I went with bmi baby I found this site great. You tell it where you want to leave from and where you want to go. You put in the day you want to leave and the day you want to return. It works it all out for you. You can book online with most credit cards. And you can also book extras on the site like hotels car hire insurance and parking in the air port. Once you have booked you can print out all details, it gives you the time your check in closes before departure, what you need to bring as ID. Also gives you your confirmation and this year I was even able to pick the seats we are going to sit on. Planes are not as big as if you were travelling abroad but all the same still comfortable. I don’t know the prices of food and drink as I didn’t bother, did not see the point as it’s only an hour flight. Although the flights are very cheap I you can fly for as little as£4.99 out and £4.99 back. The taxes are almost as much as the flights. I booked to go in April leaving the 4th on Monday and returning the 8th just for me and my daughter it has cost £89.96 and on that paid £57 in tax. There is one major draw back I checked yesterday on booking how much it was going to cost, had I not booked so early I would have saved £70. The full price with tax for 2 adults as my daughter is 15 is £79.96 and I paid £146.96. So my advice is BOOK LAST MINUTE SAVES YOU LOTS OF MONEY

I find bmi baby are not as competitive as they look. It is cheaper to fly Glasgow to Bristol on BA and then take the train to cardiff most of the ime that fly to Cardiff with them. Basics of review are there but it needs better structure and more detail.

I think it very much depends on what you are looking for on that site. Looked for flights to Palma for parents on there and there wasnt anything good at the time
