This is our 3rd weekend break to Bunn Leisure, Selsey. We went twice last year.
The site is made up of 4 areas. West Sands is the main part of the site with what looks like hundreds of caravans of varying ages placed over a large area with a small number close to the shingle beach. West Sand has the main entertainment building with the Embassy Club where all the evening entertainment takes place. When we were there, Bay City Rollers were playing on the Saturday night. Other nights other acts and entertainers were on from singers to comedians. They make a great effort to entertain the children through out the day. The main building also houses a great leisure pool, great for children with a rather fun ‘lazy river’ which sweeps you along in a sort of circle. It also has a standard size swimming pool a sauna and steam room. There is also a gym, coffee shop, restaurant, bar, 2 shops and lots of slot machines.
The 2nd largest area is called White Horse; still with lots of caravans but not as many as at West Sands. They have a smaller entertainment building where at peak times have evening entertainment and where we saw my favourite band ‘Johnny 2 Bad’ on the Saturday night. This building also houses the outdoor swimming pool, bar and slot-machines.
The 3rd area is called ‘Green Lawns’ which is the quietest and greenest of the 4 areas. They have their own entertainment building with entertainment in the evenings but mainly only at weekends. It also has a bar and a few slot machines.
The 4th area is the campsite where you can link up your caravan or pitch your tent. It has good facilities for showering, washing up etc.
Once you have made your booking at any of the sites you will be given passes which you will be required to get into the pool and to access the evening entertainment.
There is a regular bus service running around the park and a kiddie’s fun train which you can hop on and off.
There is a fun fair which cost £10 for all day and evening and a good crazy golf course which you have to pay for.
We have stayed in various categories of caravan and all have been adequate and fairly clean.
Bunn Leisure always responds to any problems you may have and for example will provide extra bedding if requested.
