This is the first time I have ever written on a site which gives feedback, I'm ashamed to say. But I recently had a short stop over in London and wanted to cram in as much sight seeing as possible and catch up with a friend who lives there. As I love riding bikes and so does she, I enquired about hiring one for the day. My London friend was sceptical as to whether this was possible so I asked my hotel via email if they could recommend a company. I was totally impressed with Dutch Bike Hire - I received a prompt reply via email confirming they would deliver a bike to my hotel , which they did on time. They provided me with not only a bike that suited my needs totally ( I didnt want a flash new bike as I wanted to be able to lock it and visit some of the London sights during the day) but helmet, bike chain, bike path map, basket, in fact nothing was too much trouble for Wojtek. I asked for the seat to be swapped which he graciously did. For a ridiculously low daily fee I had the use of the bike all day. My friend and I had a truly fantastic day in London sightseeing at Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, down to the river, had lunch there and a ride on the London Eye. Visited art galleries, walked across the Millenium bridge,etc. We even rode to Carnaby St and ended a near perfect day with a meal at a restaurant near there. And while enjoying our meal I sms'd Dutch Bike Hire and within 20 minutes they came to collect my bike from where I was. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Forget hot stinky tube rides and expensive cab fares - see London the best way ( its all very flat and easy to manouevre around) by bicycle. This is one 50 year old Aussie gal who'll remember that day for a long time. regards, Annie Monks

I bet you saw a lot more than you would have done going from place to place on the Tube!

Welcome to Ciao. A good first review. All I would say is maybe add a few more specific details like the price of bike hire, how far in advance you needed to book, or details of the different types of bikes available. :)
