A three days break to spain, 6 of us so two cars booked, pick up was fine, cars were great, explanation that if cars not returned with full tanks £55 would be taken off credit card - fine. Cars returned full to the brim (only used to a from airport about 6 euros of petrol) Didnt want to inspect cars on return to airport. Credit card bill came in this month, two charges taken by car hire company, oneon day of arrival, one processed 10 days after we left, both different amounts (the other car driver had no such payments) Impossible to phone holiday autos so have to email, when I do finally get a number they tell me they will write to me (10 days later) just to tell me they will look into it and report back within a working month, in the mean time i'm over £50 short and worried that someone out there is using my credit card for unauthorised payments, they tell me to wait for the enquiry - wondering how much more they can run up in the next month!

i think this is a malaga airport thing. just got told no car available from there.... will write review and explain all.

The car was full to the brim of petrol, we filled it up at the airport so we knew that the tank would be full. They didnt want to check the car upon return. I've since been told that Centurio often do this and Holiday Autos have refunded me, 6 weeks after I complained, 2 months after they took the money. They also claim the lock was damaged and they took £20 for this, even though we took out the accident insurance waiver. This has been refunded now, but again 2 months after they took the money, I do think they shouldnt have taken this at all!

I used them and they were fine. It might seem harsh that they dont just charge you the missing fuel (at a premium per litre rate even), but if you know in advance, it is better just to fill it as requested..I guess they keep charges down by not having to go and refill cars, as the next customer wants a full motor too!
