Advantages: Great location for exploring Warwick or RLS Disadvantages: Eratic customer service and staff abilities
...I’m torn between writing a glowing report of a hotel that is in a perfect position for travellers and business people alike or one that tears into the staff for their failings.
LOCATION
Firstly this hotel is in an odd position, just outside Royal Leamington Spa itself on a Retail Park / Business Estate, which isn’t as bad as it sounds but don’t expect stunning views of the surrounding countryside if you’re on the wrong side of the hotel! Incidentally, ignore the hotel blurb that says it ‘overlooks’ Warwick Castle – IF you are on the right side of the hotel you can just about see the castle on a good day.
It was built as a Marriott Hotel which has been taken over by the Holiday Inn chain who is owned by the InterContinental Hotels Group, they are best known in the UK for the Holiday Inn brand and Crowne Plaza hotels.

Advantages: exciting varied track, the ultimate ‘drivers’ circuit - many chances of over taking, location amidst lush forest Disadvantages: none really..(often wet..?)
...This is it, the World’s most exciting racing venue Spa Forenchamps, every drivers dream.. In the last race at Budapest we saw the 2001 Championship Title won for the 4th time by Michael Schumacher. Just a couple of weeks later all the drivers and teams were lined up to experience yet another Grand Prix at one of the most spectacular racing circuits in the World..Spa Francorchamps in Belgium.
This opinion will be spilt into 2 parts once again with firstly some details about the circuit and secondly an analysis of the historic and highly dramatic Race that took place in September 2001, which certainly moved me immensely…….
1) The Circuit ~
Unlike Hungary’, Spa Francorchamps is an amazing drivers circuit that has several places where over taking manoeuvres are possible. It is also the longest circuit in F...

Advantages: Elegant, Beautiful and very relaxing Disadvantages: The cost of the treatments can mount quickly.
...A couple of years ago, my parents were trying to decide what to get me for my birthday, and decide to treat me to a stay at Le Spa. My friend who lives in the area and is a member of Le Spa's Gym decided to spend the day having treatments with me. I was advised to arrive at the hotel at 9am to book in for my treatments whilst having a relaxing cup of tea. During which time, my luggage would be taken to my room and the booking in forms would be delivered to me during lunch. Cool, I thought no rushing around with checking in and booking treatments before everything was fully booked.
I duly arrived at 9am, and headed for the entrance. The door was locked, with a note up saying Le Spa would be open at 10am. Intriguing seen as I was told to arrive at 9am. I had a look around for another entrance or someone to ask about the mix up...

This is going to be a bit of an unusual review as I am writing about a hotel that I have never stayed at. I have never used the facilities - but I have experienced their customer service.
On the 4th October last year, my partner and I took a trip down more
