Air Mauritius is a small airline but with big hopes. The experience overall was excellent on both aircraft. On the Nariobi-Mauritius leg despite the delay was slight and the aircraft was spotless. For a 3 hour flight everything was smooth sailing with a generous seat pitch, good breakfast and a fair movie. ...at the airport. The flight was opporated on a modern airbus aircraft with brand new seats. This flight was great however the cabin decor was not to my tastes with horid yellow seats but the cabin decoration was adequet. Everything was excellent except the legroom but I had 3 seats on the back row to myself. The inflight entertaiment was AVOD with a massive choice of audio and video to choose from. Did not live up to all the good reviews. I travelled from Edinburgh to Hamilton May 2008. We arrived at the airport and was quickly boarded on the plane. We had booked premier seats together, when we sat down we realised that the plane and crew were all from Iceland, the crew could only understand half of what the Scottish passengers were saying. ...The seat in front of us went straight back due to being broken. When we landed at Hamilton airport in Canada we were greeted by what looked like a industrial estate. On the return flight the flight was delayed but due to the small airport the passengers had to seat outside and there was limited shops and cafes, none of this information is included in the airport information on the sight. ... Once we'd taken off, it was a drinks trolley with a small-ish but adeqeute range of juices, soft drinks and alcohol, although they were not accompanied by any nuts or pretzels. I had the option of sitting anyway onboard, however it didnt seem that some seats had more reasonable leg room than others.
