Full service? I Think not!
Review of Air Canada - ACA by
CanadianTraveller
Advantages: Very few
Disadvantages: Not full service
We choose to fly Air Canada (Aug 2007) from Toronto to LA as it was the national airline. Even though ticket prices were considerably higher than anticipated we choose Air Canada secure in the knowledge that the flight was an international flight and the service, seating etc was as high a standard as any national airline.
We were horrified to discover that their ageing aircraft A319 was configured for sardines and way below international standards. ... ...the seams. Were we on Air Nigeria?
The trolleys that moved between the aisles had about an inch or two to spare as they completely blocked the passage. Aisle seat passengers could easily loose a toe if not vigilant. Heaven forbid if there was a sudden emergency. The heavily laden trolleys required two attendants to push them along. If you chose to use the toilets at the back you would have to wait for a good 40 minutes. The single toilet in the ...

cyclone88
Advantages: Easy Registration, Multiple ways to Earn
Disadvantages: errors can occur
...this, I fly my countries air carrier Air Canada quite often. Now because of this, I decided to become a member of their Frequent Flyer Program called Aeroplan. And soon, I was reaping the benefits.
Registration
Registration was easy. I registered through their website at http://www.aeroplan.com . Here I clicked on registration and in a few minutes, I had a number and I could print out a temporary card. My friend told me that phone registry is also ... ...1) StarAlliance
Because Air Canada is a member of Star Alliance, I can earn miles on other Star Alliance Airlines such as United, British Midlands, All Nippon Airways, SAS and many others. 2) Banking and Credit Cards
I also can earn at the CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerence) Here, they have an AeroMortgage on which your mortgage earns miles and the AEROGOLD Visa card also earns miles. 3) Future Shop

Great Flight, Excellent Customer Service
Review of Air Transat by
Fiza_Khan
Advantages: On Time, Great Staff
Disadvantages: Leg Room
I booked Air Transit with caution as I had read negative reviews. However I was pleasantly surprised when I flew with them on Wed 7th May 08 and wanted to share my experience. I checked in at Gatwick with ease and without queuing. Hannah at check-in was friendly and I requested to be seated in front of the plane as I suffer from motion sickness. The flight was on time and once bordered I had a great seat and was pleased. I found the staff to be very ...

Flymaybe. Do you feel lucky?
Review of Flybe by
Englebert_Fliegenende
Advantages: Okay when they can get it together.
Disadvantages: Terribly unreliable, disgraceful customer relations.
Do not be fooled by FlyBe positioning themselves as a budget airline. They aren't cheap if you need to book seats less than a couple of weeks in advance, and the flights likely to be used for business trips are heavily penalised cost-wise.
I fly regularly to UK and EU destinations with FlyBe from Southampton. When it's fine, it's fine - which is all you can ask for from a 'budget airline'.
However, more than 50% of the 34 flights I've booked this ... ...or, worst of all, diverted to Birmingham or Exeter because we've taken off so far behind schedule than Southampton Airport will be closed by the time we touch down. Obviously, this usually happens on the return leg, which means I get to spend hours in a half closed airport with not a clue as to when I may get home. Any kind of disruption in the morning, at any airport, ripples though their schedules to the point of utter chaos by mid-afternoon.

Virgin Atlantic Upper Class.
Review of Virgin Atlantic Airways - VIR by
gpik
Advantages: Friendly, Efficient
Disadvantages: None
...always heard the hype of Virgin Atlantic. Lets face it, they are hard to miss when they are owned by Sir Richard Branson!
I was off on holidays to Sydney and decided to treat myself to Upper Class. The day came and I had already arranged the Limo service through Virgin Atlantic. The Limo service I understand is only available on some Upper Class Tickets (i,.e the non discounted ones). The Limo arrived on time, just in time to hit the rush hour traffic ... ...London Heathrow Terminal three. Well Virgin Atlantics private part of T3. VAA have an area called drive through check in. As the Limo pulls up a lovely ground staff member brings out all your details to the window and checks you in from the car! I couldnt believe it. The other half sat there with jaw open. From there we were escorted through to the Upper Class private security channel and within 9minutes we were in the London Heathrow Clubhouse!
