One day we arrived the hotel at 21.00, we found the door of our room wide open!! The housekeepers forgot to close it! towels on the floor and nothing done. They don't clean, just extend the sheets. Beds uncomfortable and noisy. Staff very rude. Time for breakfast was horrible, the staff seem stressed and don't want you to ask for anything!! We booked the London Euston Ibis for a one night stay at the end of May. We had previously stayed at many Ibis hotels in several countries on mainland Europe and had always been delighted with our experiences. Alevizis is located at the South End of the Beach at Aghios Gordios, just before you reach the very large Aghios Gordios Hotel that stands above the end of the beach. I think this was the best of the Tavernas that front the beach for a lunchtime break from the sun. This is based on the quality of what we had and also the price. We stayed here in April while attending an event at the 02. The location is ideal for the O2 - just one stop away on the Jubilee line. It's great when you leave the O2 because most people are heading in the other direction! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were polite, but seemed very rushed. When we asked for more pillows they never arrived. The breakfast was adequate and as expected. Plenty of cereals, fruit, toast and pastires ...
...the hotel, the area is quite run-down. I wouldn't have been comfortable walking from the tube station to the hotel in the dark on my own. Luckily it is only a short walk away. All in all it wasn't bad for the price, and was ideal as a base for attending events at the O2. ... Read review
