A Great Stay
Review of Hilton New York, New York City by
JuicyJessie24
Advantages: Perfect Location
Disadvantages: Busy at peak times
I stayed at this hotel in christmas of 2005. You can tell the quality of the hotel just by arriving, your bags are taken and greeted very nicely by the bells boys and hotel staff.
I had a swift check in, which is a benefit because it allows you to travel the huge city straight away. All the main attractions are very close to your doorstep like central park, radio city and times square, anything else you need to see the underground station is very ... ...a good choice of TV channels including bbc news 24 for any Brits.
But, if my stay is anything to go by you wont spend much time in your hotel room because there is so much to explore in NYC.
Overall, i would reccommend this hotel very strongly, and dont really have any disadvantages to it. The only drawback would be because of the amount of rooms there is it can seem to be very busy at peak times. ...

Millenium Hilton **** New York City
Review of Millenium Hilton, New York City by
2dachs
Advantages: Close to Battery Park & Lower Manhattan Districts
Disadvantages: None- {slight work noise from ground zero, to be expected}
...iron inside and also a Millenium Hilton umbrella.
There were three large glass windows to our suite, looking out at various streets.
The best way to get around is by metro of which there is a station just up at the side of the hotel on Fulton Street, we purchased tickets for 7days of which cost $24 each from vending machines at the station of which are easy to use.
We found out that the trains were quick and only take around 15-20 minutes to get ... ...Empire State Building. We found the Longest journey to the Bronx Zoo to take around 45 minutes.
As the restaurant could work out expensive at the hotel, we found the Stage Door Deli just across from us at the other side of the church offered good quick breakfasts very cheaply {under $15 for two}.
For people who like shopping Century 21 {a bit like TK Maxx in the UK} is brilliant and cheap for designer items and gifts. Please remember that everything ...

A great hotel in a great location
Review of Millennium Hotel Broadway, New York City by
diddy1
Advantages: Big Rooms, Frendly staff
Disadvantages: Resturant food not to my taste - mum LOVED their beef burger though!!
I have stayed at this hotel 2 times in a couple of years, and I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The rooms are of a great size, and are of a really high standard.
The room facilities are great, safe, tv, bathroom, soaps etc, tea facilities, free morning newspapers!
The hotel staff are ever-so friendly, always saying hello and happy to help. Hotel shop supplies anything you may need, newspapers, magazines, headache tablets, ... ...and also a theatre..
Just at the end of both sides of the street are Broadway and Times Square.. Lots of shops!! Can be out for hours wandering and spending! Great fun!! =D!!
Lots of resturants near by also..
This hotel has a great store opposite that sells food ->from drinks, crisps, fruit, pasteries and hot food... They make the BEST turkey roll ever!! (simple - roll, butter and turkey - they put LOTS of it on!! cut it and wrap it - it's GREAT!! ...

Review of Renaissance New York Hotel Times Square, New York City by
bestbunnygirl
Advantages: Excellent location for exploring
Disadvantages: None!
We stayed in the Renaissance in March and April of this year. The room was fantastic with a great view of Time Square - surprisingly quiet as well. All the memebers of staff we spoke to were really friendly. We wanted to upgrade our room as it was a special occasion but all the suites were booked - because of this the guy on reception gave us free breakfast vouchers instead!
If you are looking for a hotel that is right in the heart of the action, ...

Edison hotel was built in 1931in true Art Deco style it is situated in the heart of New York. On 228 West 47th Street just half a block from Times Square and one block from restaurant row also either direction you'll have Broadway so the situation of this hotel is perfect. when checking in i was immediately greeted by friendly staff. as usual i thought a lift would take ages and we where on the 7th floor but suprisingly the lifts came quickly. on ... ...the view as it was off a back of the street and became noisy in the morning with lorries delievering stuff. the rooms had really high ceiling with a cupboard with a tv for entertainment and lots of storage for unpackaging. the bathroom was very small , with basic sink, bath and toilet. unfortunately our lock on the bathroom was broken but staff fixed that asap. The hotel made me feel really safe with the security on 24/7. the hotel comprised of a ...
