    The Bella Italia chain used to be known as Bella Pasta and was established in the UK in the early nineties. Owned by the Tragus Group who also own Cafe Rouge and Strada, there are currently 84 Bella Italia restaurants dotted around the UK. Heading into Durham City from the bus or train station will take you across Framwellgate Bridge. Look down from here and you will see the Bella Italia. The building juts out over the river, and diners can be seen through the windows when you look down from the bridge. I always think it looks very inviting, particularly when lit up on dark evenings.
