    Advantages Advantages if you are booking for yourself you may have a better service

    Disadvantages Disadvantages booking 3rd party was such a hassle

    i have recently booked 2 sets of 3rd party flights to fly with emirates one set direct with emirates and the other through an online booking agent, from my expereice booking direct with emirates was such a hassle, we were able to hold the flights for 48 hours and then because it was 3rd party (iwasn't flying) as i was booking it for friends of ours that don't have a credit card at the moment we had to go to an emirates booking offcice which our nearest one is just over an hours drive! not so good when my friend has 2 newborn twins that we had to take with us, we were also told that the desk is ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Bad service from crew and ground staff (no helpfull at all)

    I got very bad experience from travelling with the airlines. The bad experience started my outbound flight, crew didn't prepare my food requested for my little baby. Crew didn't even ask what we want, from my journey around the world, most crew will pay attention for little baby since we occupied our seat. the best thing is that they use new airplane (airbus 380) But the worst experience for me is that after we arrived home, some person took my luggages and when i got back, i lost my money inside the luggage but airline didn't show any responsibility.     Advantages Advantages Good legroom,plenty of seat back entertainment

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor service on the way out, liquids should be offered, food average, safety video only no demo

    Emirates Airline Just in case anyone wants to inform me that this is in the wrong category I have asked ciao to move it to the airline rather than the FFP. Hopefully it will happen soon. Sorry. We flew to Dubai and back with Emirates and this is the first time in the last 8 years we have used this airline. The last time we flew we were going to Singapore in about 2003 I think. The airline has a very good service record and certainly when we flew to Singapore and back it was very pleasant.     EK018 Man to DXB 6 september 2010. Flight delayed by at least 24 hours, I spent over four hours on plane,got very bad or little coms from airline and aiport staff.Would have been put up in hotel near airpor with rest of passengerst, but told would have to wait 2 hours after customs for allication of hotel and pick up. So took the airlines staff option of taxi home. Just arrived home at11pm from 10am from my point of view this is a wasted day of my holiday. Not even told if being picked up tomorrow.     Emirates amazing airline! In 2006 I had the pleasure of expericiencing a flight with Emirates. I had heard good reports from my brother who had used them several times. The bonus for us was that it was a local airport London Gatwick which we are on a short drive away so even better. When I was arranging the flight on the internet I was pleasantly surprised that there was so much choice in flight times. We were going to Australia.     I had never been on a flight for longer than 7 hours and that was to New York. My partner and I decided to go travelling for 9 months to Australia, we booked our flights through a tour operator and paid in bits. Then the day came, where we left our family and friends and began our adventure, our first flight was about 7 hours to Dubai, then we had a 3 hour wait before we got on a 13/14 hour flight to Sydney.     Here I am going to share my experience with Emirates Airlines during my flight from London Heatrow, to Sydney Airport, via Dubai. One thing that all passengers like to take into account is punctuality, and I was glad to see that all 4 flights were on time or early and we were allowed onto the plane (although this did take some time from checking in) to get comfortable and relax immediately and start using the entertainment sources.     Disadvantages Disadvantages On certain routes, the stayover in Dubai might be quite long.

    I first flew Emirates through chance rather than out and out through design. Of course I knew about them, had heard all the rave reviews etc. but as they only are an option for long haul through Dubai from Vienna, I'd not had much opportunity to try them out. That changed when I wanted to have a week in Hong Kong - and Emirates were doing a EUR 520 return ticket from Vienna - which was considerably cheaper than the competition.     Before I just heard and knew about Emirates. when I have plan to go to Dubai, UAE so I choose using Emirates for my flight from my country to Dubai. Since the process of ticket check-in, then boarding to aircraft and during on board I was served with a very satisfactory with 1st class services even I just seat in economy class, although the flight took almost 9 hours but with all the excellent services presented by the flight crew as well as in flight entertainments during the flight.     Advantages Advantages fantastic staff, great food and movie choices were amazing

    Disadvantages Disadvantages can be ignored for a while when busy, intense safety check - but this is also a good thing

    I flew to Abu Dhabi last year with Emirates and i can safely say they are one of the best airlines I have ever flown on and I have flown a lot. Check in was noramal not particularly fast or slow, the flights were both on time to the minute which was very impressive! The flight itself was outstanding, we flew on their new aircraft, the seats were spacious, comfortable and spotless, leg room was good.
