Advantages Advantages Comfortable rooms, gracious staff, reasonably priced

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I stayed at Holiday Inn for a week. While I didn’t have an exceptional experience, it wasn’t even bad. I had a comfortable stay! I wasn’t inconvenienced for anything – food, drinks and the service in general was up to the mark. I used to enjoy the morning breakfast. It was healthy and delicious and you could also eat to your heart’s content – baked beans, scrambled egg, white toast, juices, pudding, marmalade, cereals, etc. The breakfast was filling and enjoyable. I also liked the décor of the hotel. It wasn’t too flashy, neither too simple. It was appealing in my opinion. The décor my room ... more

Advantages Advantages Very comfortable hotel offering all the comforts of home

En route to France we stayed overnight in the Holiday Inn, Kensington Forum. Though a huge hotel this has all the comforts of home with well equipped rooms and friendly helpful staff with excellent service as the reception desk was manned at all times. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped with extras available if needed. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was wonderful. Even the lifts to the different floors were quicker than expected - a major bugbear of mine when it comes to hotels. The hotel is central, easily found and enabled us easy access to the underground and ... more

Advantages Advantages Good value for money, well positioned (close to shops, restaurants etc.)

Disadvantages Disadvantages Limited parking, not as modern as many other hotels

I stayed in this hotel for two nights when I went to London with my family, and although it wasn't the best hotel I had visited it served its purpose as a comfortable place to stay. Since we were out most of the day and again for dinner in the evenings, we spent little time at the hotel but was nice all the same. I would assume that most people visiting London would want to see the sights rather than spending their entire day in the hotel room, in which case the Holiday Inn is a good place to stay. We ordered the full English breakfast each morning- there was a good selection of food and you ... more

Advantages Advantages Near tude station, modern hotel

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive car parking

I recently visited London for a couple of days (Monday to Wednesday) and rather than sleeping on a friends sofa decided to try out a website I had seen reviewed on Ciao (priceline.co.uk). After trying the site a couple of times to see the variation in price I booked a 4 star hotel in the Kensington area for £41 (plus taxes etc). When the confirmation came through I was informed that the room I had booked was in the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum (for anyone who has never seen this site before I recommend reading some of the reviews on it, it will save you loads of money.). The only downside to ... more
