Hyatt Regency Hotel Mumbai

On my last spiritual trip to India in November, I arrived at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai at 3:00 am at night. One of my Indian acquaintances was kind enough to present me with a few options regarding accommodation. As I was really tired, I asked him the nearest one. I stayed in the Grand Hyatt for 12 wks. I must admit when I landed in Mumbai I was surprised of how close this hotel is to the airport...15mins. There is 2 Hyatts in Mumbai, one is called the Grand Hyatt, the other just the Hyatt. Ok first of all when I seen the outside of this Hotel I was well impressed, although I was a little worried about the security..first of all when we drove in the underneath of the car was checked...then as we drove to the front I seen 2 dog handlers and a metal detector that you have to walk through after you get all your bags checked... Isn't it a drag when you arrive somewhere late at night and have to haul two bags and both buttocks all the way into town, adding an hour to an already overlong journey? Or, when you wake up in the middle of the night, almost before going to bed, to pack two bags and buttocks and haul them all the way out to the airport? You take a couple of intravenous coffees, to keep yourself awake till you get on the plane, then once safely tucked up on board you are buzzing so much you can't sleep!
