    According to my experience, Jet airlines has inexperienced staff does not know how to take care of international travelers Customer support at the check in counter is pathetic Even the supervisors of this airline company are not experienced enough to solve the problems finally they try to cancel the tickets of the passengers or give ultimatum to them, like pay or else..... mistreating passengers is the only thing they have been trained to do...at times they do not understand simple English or any other languages they are suppose to know Harassing passengers, and wasting passengers valuable ... more

    Advantages Advantages I now know this Airline does not perform and will never use them again

    Disadvantages Disadvantages I am limiting my choice of airlines to India

    Today’s Flight with Jet Airways 9w229 22/11/2010 Brussels –Delhi. In spite of having a totally valid return ticket (this was the outward leg, the return leg being the Thursday morning flight from Delhi) and arriving at the checkout over 2 hours prior to the flights departure, I was refused a boarding ticket because the plane had apparently been changed and was overbooked. The alternative proposed by their unapologetic staff in Brussels airport was to fly to Chennai and then take an internal flight to Delhi about 4 extra hours flying plus all the additional hassle at the airports.     Advantages Advantages Inflight entertainment, punctual, food, service provided on ground and in air

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Some of the flight times do not correspond perfectly with the international flights.

    I have travelled on Jet Airways' domestic network between many places within India. I have also travelled on other airlines like, Air India, Indian Airlines, KIngfisher Airlines and Spicejet. After travelling on the main airlines in India, i can conclude that Jet Airways is the best Indian airline. The reasons why i liked them are: They enabled our party of 4 to have an easy transfer from the international terminal to the domestic terminal, even though we were flying on a different airline. They had their own service between the two terminals, therefore the wait was not as long as usual. The ... more

    Recently flew to Kathmandu via Delhi to find that my luggage was missing. The staff just seemed unhelpful and disinterested. They promised to fax Delhi and assured me that I would receive my bags the next day. No luggage. Their only advice was to phone regularly to see if the baggage had arrived. The airline office is unhelpful and is not even picking up calls, anymore. It's the total lack of communication and their disinterested attitude that is really frustrating.     Flight from London to Bankok return with a change over in Mumbai. Jet airways seem to have a new fleet of aircraft, all aircraft are clean and well equipped, check in is effortless and customer service at the airport is fantastic. TV in seat with large choice of movies and some games with the usual cheap headphones and two prong plug Tip:(bring an adapter and use your own headphones) One strange thing though, no drinks round. A free drink was available but only at the time of the meal. Two and a half hours into the flight when you receive a drink of your choice (Wine for me) a bottle of water ... more

    Jet Airways Flight 9W 0123 My mother who is 88 and I travelled economy on the above flight on 1st October 2008. Due to my mother's age, heart & blood pressure condition including having had both knee replacements 3 yrs ago & a hip replacement in January 2008- I was extremely worried about travelling. I need not have worried -Jet Airways ground and flight attendants were exceptional in their care & throughout the journey to each & every passenger in Economy - we felt we were travelling First Class.     Disadvantages Disadvantages less direct flights, small lag room

    I have travelled through Jet airways on their international as well as domestic fleets. Jet is one of best Indian airlines for domestic travel, there is no doubt about it. They have recently take over Air Sahara (sahara group airline) and rename it as jetlite. So for budget airline jetlite is good option which cover many destinations within India. For international flights it is now cheaper than Air India. So always preferable over Air India. Staff is helpful and well mannered.     i travelled on jet airways afew weeks ago and was very impressed. i flew from heathrow london to amritsar india. i had my doubts at the start of our journey as we took off a hour late, i was preparing myself for a very long flight but i was pleasantly surprised. We arrived in india within 7 and a half hours, this was pretty good going. The inflight experience was very pleasant, the staff were friendly and helpful. As far as i know all jet airways aircrafts are relatively new, they have tv's mounted in the seat in front of you. Theres a wide selection of movies to choose from, they really ... more

    I mostly travel to India ... so i have traveled with quite alot of airlines .. Jet airways is one of my favourite airlines. Probably one of the best. Yes the airline ticket is quite expensive but when we think about the crew, the flight, the experience is really great. The Crew is very polite, attentive, takes good care of passengers and are really friendly. The meals i had was really excellent, They provided the best meal.     Advantages Advantages the flights are always on time. great food too.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages bit heavy on the pocket sometimes.

    I have to say jet airways is far most the best airline i have ever flew in to places in india. It always turns out to be more expensive than Air India but there is a reason for that and the reason is that it provides better service than air india and any other indian airliner. I have never had any problems with jet airways but when i choose to fly with air india, the problems keep increasing everytime. Last time i went with Air India, the flight was delayed more than five hours and the customer service was very bad and rude too.
