La Tahona Garden Apartments, Caleta de Fuste

I’ve just got back from staying here so have all the thoughts of this place still fresh in my mind. What made me decide that I wanted to come here on holiday? Good question. After all the holidays that myself and my husband go on are generally different to a relaxing holiday in the Sunshine. We have braved the streets of New York, Climbed up Vesuvius, wandered around Pompeii, Went to the Coliseum in Rome, and looked around the Acropolis in Athens. February 2011 we wanted a cheap and cheerful holiday in the sun. We spent one week at La Tahona and having looked at other reviews which were a mixed but mostly negative bag we decided to book. Having paid only £260 each including transfers for an all inclusive holiday package through Low Cost Holidays, we found we were flying with Easyjet and the flight alone was £130 return. This was our 2nd stay in Fuerteventura and the first [and last] at this hotel. Upon arrival the greeting was reasonably warm and brief, if yet efficient and we were quickly told where our apartment was. We were in for 2 weeks [sorry if it sounds like a prison sentence!] as All Inclusive and were allocated a ground floor accommodation in a nice quiet corner of the complex and not far from the pool.
