Visiting the cinema is a popular past time in Warsaw probably because there are a wide variety of cinemas including many multiplex type cinemas which were built after 1989, after the political changes in the country. These huge buildings with their dozens of screens and rich repertoire are present at almost every shopping centre, attracting thousands wishing to combine shopping with filmgoing.
