Riu Ocho Rios, Ocho Rios

We had 2 weeks here, escaping from the January cold of Yorkshire! We'd stayed at the Riu Negril, at the Western end of the island some years before so this hotel was very much what we expected Location Set right on the beach about 5 miles west of the town of Ocho Rios and maybe about an hour or so from the airport at Montego Bay. Excellent location for visiting the various sights in Jamaica - very near the Dunn's River Falls for instance. Last year myself and husband travelled to this hotel, which had only recently been opened and had the most amazing honeymoon! On arrival to the hotel reception area is massive but still welcoming, and check in to the hotel was quick and easy which is what we needed after the long flight from the UK. Once we got up to the room, we were really happy, lovely seaview huge balcony ( double the size of soe of the others) and a king size bed which could proabbly have fitted 4 people in easily!
