if you come to tibet and have a visit if you can not come to sera temple, i think it is a great pity. if you plan to sera monastery, you can get beijing city,chengdu ciy,chongqing city by air from oversea,then can go Lhasa by train.it will take you about 700 RMB to arrive in Lhasa from chengdfu city,or chongqing city.as a new railway to Lhasa is build and opend last year.so it is not so difficult to reach there as before.sera monastery look very beautifull ,it combine the buddhism character and middle part of old china building and have a high historic the price for tickets is very cheap ...
