Whenever I go into Matalan, the holiday section is bombarded with these suitcases in a variety of different colours and sizes to suit the needs of practically anybody! It claims to be the lightest suitcase in the world and I think this claim does hold some ground. The suitcase really is very light; this is vital for travelling by aeroplane where even the slightest weight excess can cost you a lot of money. By minimising on the weight of the bag, you can pack much more for your trip and be better prepared at your destination. Another advantage of the low weight is that it makes it easier to ... more

Advantages Advantages Large, light, plenty of pockets, stronger than it looks,

Disadvantages Disadvantages Our pull out handle got stuck and can no longer really be used

Over the last few years I have travelled quite a lot, especially while living abroad and flying to London every few weeks for courses and job interviews when I was applying for my training contract. I seem to get through loads of suitcases as I often find that they don't last too well when they are being used a lot and subjected to some slightly rougher treatment, e.g. rather than just taking them from the boot of the car and checking them in at the airport I do often have to go on the tube with them, take them up stairs in stations with no lifts, wheel them for fairly short distances on the ... more

Advantages Advantages Lightest case. Splash-proof. Good size for hand luggage. Pockets. Trolley case. Price.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Only 2 wheels. No lock.

The case I tend to use when I want to use hand luggage only is my Sub Zero G Luggage Trolley Suitcase. When I bought it I bought it from the Enekes Shop in Cheltenham which cost me only £36.00, but it is currently being sold in Argos for the increased price of £49.99. I do think this is a really good price for a small suitcase, and while there were suitcases i would prefer to have for hand luggage, this case was the best within the price range I was looking at ... more

Advantages Advantages Great company to deal with, very light weight suitcases

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I purchased one of these suitcases back in October 2008 ready for my trip to South Africa in November 2008 as I only had a small luggage restriction and was going for 10 days so would need a lot of stuff. I was so surprised when I actually lifted the case off of the floor to find how light it was. They suitcase was fairly expensive but as it was so light and came with a 10 year guarantee, I decided to go ahead with the purchase and actually bought two, one for me and one for my sister who was also coming to South Africa. We used the cases for the trip and were find on luggage restrictions so ... more
