    Yonge Street (pronounced ‘young’) used to be one of the longest streets in the world and has previously been in the Guinness Book of Records for this. It is near impossible to go to Toronto and not find yourself on a part of this street at some point or another. The road was built in 1794, making it 212 years old now and it is nearly a whopping 1.900km in length.
