... Sparkle GeForce 8800 GTS I have this card (Sparkle 8800gts) for 6 months now and I'm happy with it. It's stable, fast, quiet and quite nice. When playing games (Call of Duty4: Modern Warfare; F.E.A.R. ; Colin McRae: Dirt etc.) with highest detail settings the FPS (frames per second) is at very high level. Also 8800gts has an overclocking reserve (you can overclock 20% and the card is still stable). The GTS supports: DirectX10 for better graphics quality, SLI technology which allows you to use 2 GPU's in one computer for better performance and dual monitor mode which is handy when working with photo editors. However this card is long and fat (uses two slots in computer case), it needs additional power cable and when starting it test's cooling system(it's quite annoying) and then makes a lot of noise. ...First let me state, I do not own a Geforce 2 GTS graphics card YET but when I buy a new card in the next few months this will be top of my shopping list. My nVidia TNT 2 Pro graphics card is becoming a little long in the tooth and I have a need....a need for speed. So why the Geforce 2 GTS, rather than it's big brother the ULTRA, or indeed it's little brother the MX? To understand you first need to know the differences. The Geforce 2 Ultra is exactly the same chip as the GTS except for one respect. Ultra chips are hand picked because they will run at a higher clock speed. That's not to say that the GTS won't run at the same speed. Both chips come off the same production line and from what I have researched on the net, GTS chips come very close 90% of the time. Maybe on the other hand you do need it or you are buying for the future, in which case the Geforce 2 MX is not as Future proof as the Geforce 2 GTS. ...The GeForce 8600GTS XXX edition from XFX, I own this card and is just fantastic, I bought this card because I can't afford the powerful one's at the moment but if you buy this card you will see that is not very much different than the powerful one's. At the moment I am playing Crysis which is a fantastic game and with this card Im able to get about 20 frames per second everything at max, everything at mid I get about 30 frames per second at 1280*1024 resolution which is playable, but you can get a bit more depending on your system. As I said its fantastic, you will also be able to play HD, blu-ray movies with no problem because this card is HDCP fully capable, Direct X 10 and many other features, and for gamers like me if you buy 2 of these and put them into SLI mode if your motherboard support it them my friends it will be awsome.... ...The BFG 8800 GTS 320MB is a great card for any PC gamer. It works amazingly in my set up consisting of Asus P5B Motherboard, Corsair HX 520w Modular Power Supply, Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, Geil 2GB Ultra PC2-6400 RAM, 320GB Samsung Spinpoint and the Arctic Freezer 7 Pro. The 8800 GTS is easy to install and takes up two expansion slots on the back of a case its easy to put in and connect its 4 pin connector to the power supply which was easy to find. The card is supplied with 2 DVI to VGA converters for those who use dual displays. It comes with a Driver disc which also has the manual on i downloaded the drivers so I can't comment on wether these drivers work. ...I think that the staff there at Abbey national are quite nice ther but I think the actual design or layout of the department needs to be improved. I think when I walked in I did not really feel comfortable there and this lead me to not like the place that much. They do not offer a very higher interest rate there, this was a definite put off because I searched around other building societies and found that they offered a higher interest rates so I abandoned abbey national. I don’t recommend it if you want high interest for your savings.... Read review

...I have been an Abbey customer for over 20 years, but over the past 3-4 years I have encountered the following problems with their customer service, and am looking to switch: - "warnings" attached to my account because mail bounced back just after I moved house - but no notification given to me; - New mandates not implemented as a result - again, with no notfication; - Very poorly trained counter staff who are powerless to help with anything other than basic deposits and withdrawals; - A tendency for things to fall through the cracks - new DDs, SOs, change of address, savings account all disappearing into the system and noone knowing what happened. I just don't need the aggravation and financial embarrassments that come with being an Abbey customer these days. If you're thinking of switching to Abbey - DON'T.... Read review
