The books follow the Hudson family and a girl of mixed race called Rain Arnold. The first book, Rain, finds the title character living with her parents, brother, Roy, and sister, Beni, in a Government funded housing project in Washington DC. Life isn't easy for the family, with Rain's mother working hard and her father trying even harder to drink any money the family has. Rain keeps her head down though and works hard at school. Rain's life takes a dramatic twist though. Beni is an attention seeker and rebels by getting in with the wrong crowd. After being raped and blackmailed she isbrutally murdered by gang members. ...know. I phoned the lettings department and they said they would contact the Land Lord. (And I use the turm loosly.) After about 3 weeks phoning trying to find out what was happening they started using their telephone evasive tackticks which over the last 5 months we got quite used to. They would say we will phone you back but nobdy ever did. Eventually a man turned tuned up on the door step saying he was from the land lord to fix the hand rail. he came in and looked and decided he could not do it that day because he did not have the propper fixings. After several calls to Reeds Rains lettings dept the chap came back again only this time he had to borrow a screw driver because his one was at another job. It is twenty-six episodes long but there are four Original video animations (OVA's) that came out sometime after the series ended.These OVA's were released to give viewers a more conclusive end to the series. It is directed by Tensai Okamaru who has worked on popular animes such as "Neon genesis evangellion" and "Cowboy Bebop". The anime studio BONES produced the series. ...Hard Rain although not well known is a good all rounder film.It stars Christian Slater who has finally managed to get rid of the idea that his looks are the only good thing about him, and has proven how good an actor he really is. Morgan Freeman also excells in this film, and for once plays a baddie who we manage to grow to like. The film revolves around a mixed up hijacking pliot, the attempt to steal thousands of dollars from an armed truck, the involvement of Slaters p[artner in this, and very importantly, an horrific storm where everywhere is flooded. Slater, one of the guards manages to hide the money, but he ends up getting more than he bargained for, with the film climaxing with a hostage situation after a long action packed chase.I better mention that on eof the hostages is Minnie Driver who acts as well as she normally... ...Well another film review and another one with Dustin Hoffman and another one that won an academy award. Im reviewing the 1988 hit drama "Rain Man" starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. Hoffman's role for this film won him an academy award for best actor and it certainly deserved. Like most films that were made before my time I grew up watching them at a young age, my mum worked for a film marketing company and therefore I was always given a chance to watch all the new films, and some of the old one's. My brother who has seen Rain Man in the cinema, told me that's its one of those films that is an instant classic, it's just something that you would love. ...The first ever time I saw a Rain Forest Cafe was in Orlando, downtown Disney. We were going to eat in there and enquired how long we would have to wait. An hour was the reply, we were so hungry that we went somewhere else. Years later when we visited The Animal Kingdom at Orlando we saw another one. There was an enormous elephant outside (no not me but I'm getting there), and an enormous queue. This time though we were determined to get in. We waited about 20 minutes which wasn't that bad for the size of the queue. We had to give our names in at the reception, and we were allocated a passport to adventure and tickets saying Belinda Safari of two. We hung around a while until they shouted out our name over the microphone. We were led to the Gorilla section. The inside of the cafe was enormous with waterfalls everywhere... Read review

...This was the last aftershave i used before switching over to Nivea aftershave balm. As mentioned in the review, i have a sensitive face and require the use of something to cool my skin after shaving in the mornings. Sad to say, this didn't help me at all. The first time i got whiff of it was when my dad used to use it, this was a few years back. I asked then what the smell was, he told me it was Gillette Wild Rain. It was really nice, and it wasn't weak either. I'm not sure if he used alot but jeez! It did manage to fill the room. Price - I saw it on the store shelf at £4.50. Regardless of price i got it. Packaging - The bottle is quite thin. Something i haven't really seen before. It is frosted glass with a green and white label. Using the aftershave - When trying to pour it out, too much would come out at once... Read review

...Main actors : Andy Garcia and Michael Douglas. Douglas is a slightly corrupt cop who ends up getting sent to Japan. He is after a Yakuza (Japanese mafia) villain. This particular 'perp' is a young buck who has aspirations to take over the mob back home in a particularly violent fashion. Garcia, who is Douglas' partner, ends up being decapitated by this gangster in an underground parking lot. Hence we also have the revenge element. The scenes are violent, dark etc. Although we do also have the vista of the plethora of bright neon in the city. The film is formulaic in the buddy-buddy format and having the (implied) 'whore with a heart' character. It is quite trite in parts, with Douglas making buddies with a local cop who is embarassed by the brash, corrupt American. Why the title? Well the head gonzo of the Yakuza... Read review

One of the biggest things I can make to obtain it, is hear music: a musical background helps to think better, helps to speed your movement, blinding, even if rarely, the operations.
