...I may not be that old but I can remember playing video games all my life, right back to the Ataris of the late 1980s, the Sega of the early 90s, my Playsation 1, N64, PS2 and my current Xbox 360. I have decided to compile a definite list of my all time 10 favourite video games. They span multiple game formats and consoles from my many years of gaming. For obvious reasons it's quite difficult to choose which order to put them in - for example there probably isn't much preference for the game I ranked 10th over the 9th one, I can be clear in my opinions for the top few because they are really the games I know and love. Although everybody likes different types of games, whether it sport, action, adventure, role-play or shooting; I think hearing opinions is the best way to hear about new gaming experiences. Advantages: there is 10 great games
Disadvantages: they may not be your preferd 10 but hey!

...Well today I am going to list my top 10 games of all time. Some you may know and love, and some you may either despise, want to burn or just haven't played them yet. There will be new games and there will be classic ones, but may I suggest that if you haven't played some of these games on the list, give them a try. Ok so in order 1-10 here are my top 10 games… 1. ...Yes - it's only Amiga games. Yes - there are 15 of them. Now shut up and read it! Anyone who's owned a computer for some time is likely to have crossed platforms. It's as sure as the tide, as certain as the sun passing through the sky. (Yes, I have just been writing my novel ;) ) Me personally, I have had a Spectrum 128k (when I was 8 – awww), then an Amiga A600, then an Amiga A1200, then a couple of PCs. Everyone has their own personal computing timeline. And everyone their own personal memories Without resorted to the tried and tested 'they don't make games like they did in my day' line, it’s easy to say that old games were better. Just remember all the good titles and forget the piles of bad smelling tripe that populated the shelves then just as much as it does today. Advantages: One of the few modern Godzilla games. Slightly novel take on modern fighters.
Disadvantages: Game play can be repetative.

...With up to 4 players and a few alternate play modes. Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee, is best suited to a late night light hearted party. Anyone in the UK familiar enough with the original Godzilla movies will have a heard enough time taking anything Godzilla related seriously. There's just something about a man in a suit spinning another man in another suit around in the air that detracts from the seriousness of Godzilla. The game has the following modes. Single Player Modes. Story - Following the cheesy Godzilla theme, aliens have come to earth, announcing to the world (with some light hearted humor) that they have taken control of all the worlds monsters. Of course they also carry collectable card games, so if you know someone still after those Pokemon cards, or after other games like Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh or Lord of the Rings, then this is the place to send them. Roleplaying Games: One of the backbones for the shop as far as regular customers go, is the roleplaying selection. They stock a huge range, everything from basic Dungeon & Dragons sets through to the more adult titles (Such as the World of Darkness & Call of Cthulhu ranges) as well as smaller press stuff (Such as Pokethulhu, Ninja Burger and Land of Og). Advantages: Brilliant in multiplayer mode
Disadvantages: Some of the games are rubbish

...42 All Time Classics was the must have DS game for Christmas 2007, it was selling for silly prices on Ebay and I searched high and low to get a copy for my daughters stocking. Ten months on and it's one of the favourite games in our collection. The game, as the name suggests, consists of 42 mini games all bundled onto one games cartridge. The games are split into eight categories, basic card games, intermediate card games, advanced card games, basic board games, intermediate board games, variety games, action games and single player games. I won't bore you by reviewing every game individually but will tell you about the ones we have loved or hated. In single player mode you have the choice of either free play or stamp mode. In stamp mode you complete the games in order to gain stamps and unlock extra features. My daughter loved... Read review

Advantages: Oldies but goodies
Disadvantages: Dare I admit I still enjoy them

...dimensional graphics acceleration card. In fact most of the really good games are great because they don’t rely on such additives. It is the idea driving the game rather than its overall presentation which is the most important facet to me. None of these games are particularly recent. Indeed two of my choices almost predate the PC age. I have played them all in my time on a Windows based PC (either on Windows or in a Window) I have also chosen games that have strength in depth. There are multiple strands of strategy to be unravelled. They can appeal to all members of the family (apart from the really little ones) – important if you want some dialogue with your offspring (or parent) about what it is that is taking up so much of your time.
