Advantages: Intuitive interface, clever AI, a game you can come back to again and again, great fun, fantastic plot and cut scenes
Disadvantages: Multiplayer mode is difficult since one game can last weeks, some cut scenes will be familiar to Alpha Centauri players of the past

...I expect most people in the UK (and a lot overseas as well) have heard of the banal and rather too popular Alpha Course, pioneered at Holy Trinity Brompton in the 1970s and modified for the general public by Nicky Gumbel, an Anglican vicar, in the 1990s. By 2007 it had been reported that over 10 million people worldwide (2 million in the UK) had attended a course. The Alpha Course is meant to be an introduction to the essentials of Christianity. It involves eating a meal, watching a video and then having a discussion, with about a dozen sessions in total spread over several months. I went on the course in 2001, which was organised by a local Anglican church. Most people on the course were already attending the church. I think they're more but can't remember them all. But if you have taken your time to read that part above, then think of the other characters you can choose from. These are only 3 moves of 2 of the main characters. But there are tons of other players, like Adon, Sagat, Sodom and about another 6 more. But there are also 3 secret characters which you can access with a simple code on the character select screen. If you want them just search for them on a search engine. Well there's tons more I can say about Street Fighter Alpha, but I won't go into much detail in them. Another nice feature it has are combo's. ...At first glance the sony alpha a100 feals slightyly plastickly, but this is partly due to the fact that the body itself is made out of plastic, never the less the sony a100 is a fantastic digital sslr for the first time photograhper. Although it is slightly dissapointing that sony has not made a vertical grip for this product, overall the smooth shiny feal to the sony alpha a100, feals nice, and the shutter button fits snugguly into your right hand, however the camera is exceptional, but the custumer service is dreadful, when i accidently smashed my sony alpha 3 days after purchasing it, i was devistated, but not to worry, i was soon on to sony, and was relieved that there was a set price of £114 but i had to forck out a lumply sum of £360 to get it fixed. There isnt realy a fixed price and the level of custumer service... Read review

...You should be aware that the Alpha Course is one mans version of what Christianity is all about, a man called Nicky Gumbell. I am a Christian myself, but would disagree with a lot of what he writes. He sees everything from a Charismatic perspective and the whole aim of the course is climaxed by a day or weekend away where perhaps some people will lay hands on you to receive what he calls the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Its important for you to know that its mainly Christians from a Charismatic church or pentecostal belief who would believe in such a thing. Most christians would say you have the holy Spirit the moment you become a Christian, and is not a "second stage" Most people who attend Alpha courses are already Christians, and a lot of very important questions just aren't covered, and its less than honest in its opinions... The one problem with a successful series is that sometimes you can overdo it and try to milk the money by releasing very similar games. However, to his credit, Sid Meier has taken the bold step of changing the environment for this game. Although retaining the general ideas and concepts of Civilisation, this game does have many improved features. The game is set in the future on the planet of Chiron in the Alpha Centauri star system. ...Well here we are again, another Street Fighter Game..............Wahhh it's brilliant, just play it. Street Fighter Alpha 3, there are tons of new characters, about 35-40 all together. There are tons of new moves, even more amazing than usual. The modes have been improved greatly and the new characters are just too funny aswell as having new looks. The good old characters are there with the nice Super moves and the Special finisher moves. You can choose from 3 fighting modes which are the different styles of using your finisher. They call them Ism's. The 3 Ism's are X, A and V. And they each have different styles and can cause a good deal of damage when playing against someone or the computer. It was designed to provide a 'refreshing' look at Christianity, both for Christians and for non-Christians alike. Where did it come from? A well known Christian speaker and auther called Nicky Gumbel actually wrote this, based out of Holy Trinity Brompton - a Church of England church in one of the nicer parts of the capital. The very first 'course' as it were was aired on ITV1 (as it was then), and then got comissioned to the rest of the country. So what is involved?
