Glowing for Summer
Review of Avon Arabian Glow Glazewear by
wulise
Advantages: Lovely shades.
Disadvantages: Needs to be re-applied regually.
...Having spent time in Tenerife this spring and then the hot days we have had in East Anglia (well 34oC is hot). This summer, my skin has started to get honey tones and I want to show it off. As a result I have been trying out a new Avon product for my lips this summer.
Arabian Glow make up products from Avon are for me the ultimate summer accessory. With ‘Glazewear for Lips’ is being one of Avon’s most popular lip colour product, they have now introduce ‘Glazewear for Lips’ in the Arabian glow collection too. This range of lip covers come in an assortment of colours catering for all skin tones and are subtle and ideal for the summer months, giving the skin a touch of sunshine. ‘Glazewear for Lips’ is a multipurpose product (acting as a lip colour on its own or as a lip gloss) and therefore represents brilliant value for money...

Multistylo Arabian Glow
Review of Avon Arabian Glow Multistylo by
kazz116
Advantages: It is easy to use when applying it to area of the face you deisire.
Disadvantages: When you use the product on all area frequently it doesn't seem to last as long.
...This product is excellent to use if you want that just sun-kissed look to your skin, it is easy to use. It provides the skin with colour you would like to have.
The mulitstylo is a lipstick size product which is lovely as it can be placed into a small purse or handbag and take it out and about where ever you would like to go. So it's very handy for that busy lifestyle.
The light pigments in the product radiance the skin to enhance the natural look and creates a glowing feature. It doen't make you look
like you go over the top with the colour. Decide which colour you think would suit you skin type.
It glides over the skin beautifully and easily when appying the product over the lip, eye lids or cheek area.
The Multistylo comes in three different colour shades:-
Sunny
Shimmering Bronze
Deep Bronze
Fair skined like myself I...

Arabian Glow bronzing pearls
Review of Avon Bronzinfg Pearls by
Toady
Advantages: Makes you look healthy and radiant
Disadvantages: None
...I brought Arabian Glow bronzing pearls 2 years ago and still have them now, so they have lasted a very long time. I don’t use them everyday just when I’m going out for a special occasion, I would say they are more for evening wear for special occasions rather than everyday use.
They cost me £7.00 from Avon and for that I got a reasonable size tub and a retractable dusting brush. The tub is round and a dark red colour, the pearls are all different colours some dark, light and medium in colour. You couldn’t carry the tub in your handbag or anywhere for that matter as the lid comes off so easily.
You can use these pearls all over your face your to highlight your cheekbones which is what I use them for. I apply the bronzing pearls over my usual foundation, which goes together well.
You have full control...

Mix it up with this fab lip gloss!
Review of Avon Arabian Glow Mosaic Sandart Lip Gloss by
helenclegg2003
Advantages: Great subtle gloss, not sticky!
Disadvantages: The colours in the pot blend together after prolonged use.
...Product:
Arabian Glow Mosaic Sandart Lip Gloss by Avon - This is a really great lip gloss, it gives a sheer gloss when applied to the lips. It comes in 4 great shades; Golden Bronze, Naturals, Roses, and Berries. The lip gloss is made up of 3 different colours in the container in a mosaic style. The colour on the lips is achieved by blending the 3 different colours on your lips. I have the Berries shade this gives a subtle plum colour to the lips, the Roses is more pink, the Naturals are earthy, and the Golden bronze is the typical Arabian glow bronze shimmer. It has a Vanilla flavour which makes you just want to lick it right off your lips! It's not sticky and gives a nice gloss shine and sheer colour.
Packaging:
The lip gloss comes in a pyramid shaped bottle. Each bottle contains 8ml of the product. It looks different...

Put a Little Sunshine in Your Life.
Review of Avon Arabian Glow Multistylo by
wulise
Advantages: A versatile piece of make-up.
Disadvantages: Takes practise to learn how to apply it effectively.
...I would really love to have a sun tan all year round, but that is not really possible, firstly in England we do not have enough hot sun and secondly suntans age the skin and can cause cancer. Avon however has a range of make-up that can help to create a glowing skin. The Arabian Glow range!
Before going any further with this opinion, it takes skill to apply this range without looking like a plastic doll. I found that I have to practise in private at home as if I applied it too heavily I looked like a panda on speed! It takes time to get this art perfected so do not expected to be skilful first time.
Anyway back to the opinion. The ‘Multistylo’ is an extremely versatile piece of make-up. It is suitable for use on the eyes, checks and lips or even as a face tint. (This is the hardest to apply effectively and should be done...

That Summer look in Winter
Review of Avon Arabian Glow Gift Set by
BUBBLES171
Advantages: cheap and good value
Disadvantages: none
...I used to shop at Avon and then when I got a bit more money I tended to buy more expensive products until I was around my friends last year and started to look at her Avon Catalogue.
This year when starting work, I thought I need an all over shimmery look so not to frighten them as I am pale milky white and I do not sunbathe and do not use sun beds.
I went into The Body shop and was surprised that this product had gone up so much and my favourite bronzing pearls had been replaced by a more pinky colour. The assistant still tried to make me buy it but I said no and walked away.
I was at my friends looking through her catalogue for Christmas pressies and came upon this Arabian Glow Gift Set for £10. My first impressions were it cannot be up to much, but in this opinion I will tell you what I think about the products...

All a Glow.
Review of Avon Bronzinfg Pearls by
wulise
Advantages: Give a healthy glow.
Disadvantages: Clog up the skin's pores.
...I am a big fan of Avon products but when it comes to the Bronzing Pears, I just have to say NO.
The reason for this is that I find the powder clogs my pore and makes my face feel like it is in some type of tight constricting mask. I really do not know why this is, but there again, ‘you cannot win them all! ’
Avon produce two types of Bronzing Pearls, Arabian Glow Bronzing Pearls and Avon Colour Face Pearls. Both cost £7.00 for 18g. This is excellent value for money as they seem to last forever. These are amongst the top ten favourite Avon products by British women in 2001.
** Arabian Glow Bronzing Pearls**
A simple dusting of powder provides a warm healthy looking glow, using sun tanned skin shades. It is prefect for the face and neck, making the skin looks radiant. It can be swept or dusted all over the face...

And The Bronze Medal Goes To...
Review of Avon Arabian Glow Multistylo by
KarenUK
Advantages: nice effect, handy to have in make up bag, good value
Disadvantages: only three shades available
...How would you fancy a complexion that looked sun-tanned and bronzed, but without all the hassle of trying to catch the sun’s rays while avoiding the risks of sunburn, sunstroke and skin cancer? Sounds pretty tempting, eh? Especially when it only costs £3.50. Read on...
Arabian Glow is a range that has been in the Avon brochures for a few years now. It currently includes a renewable sheer lipstick (£4.50), bronze compact glow-on (£7), loose powder (£6), bronzing pearls (£7), pressed powder (£6) and a gel bronzer (£4).
The range is based on three colours – sunny (the lightest one, a kind of light brown or dark beige shade), shimmering bronze (mid-brown) and deep bronze (the darkest, a deep brown colour). As usual, the colours shown in the brochure aren’t exactly the same as the real thing. I’ve just drawn...

Avon calling - but never calling back
Review of Avon representative by
fritzthecat
Advantages: Earn some pocket-money, meet new people, discounted cosmetics
Disadvantages: Oh dear : quite some
...on shampoos this month.
How do the brochures look like ?
They are DIN A5 in format and have about 180 pages. On page 3 you'll always find the index which is divided into the following classifications:
- Fragrance: This is the part where you can find the perfumes and their matching shower gels, talcum powders, body lotions, etc. It's always Ladies first, then the Gents selection. Often the pages have a "Try it "-spot which you can rub to find out how it smells. The authenticity of the sample provided on the page and the original product is disputable. Mine smell most of the time like paper...
-Cosmetics: Contains all the make-up items like foundation, lip-sticks, nail-polish and nail-care, eye-shadows... At the moment the Avon Make-up range contains following Avon brands:
Avon colour, Arabian Glow, Perfect Wear, Beyond Colour and Color...

Buy one get two free
Review of Avon Arabian Glow Multistylo by
belinda9
Advantages: cheaper to buy than seperates
Disadvantages: sometimes breaks off
...The Arabian Glow Multi-Stylo has been around for years, I should know with being an Avon Rep for over 20 years. I know it's not been around for that length of time, but still quite a good few years.
It's a versatile product where you can use it for your eyes, lips or cheeks.
It comes in a tube which looks like a mascara tube, until you twizel the end and it becomes similar to a lip stylo.
Over the years I have ordered loads of these for my customers, it is a very popular product. But from time to time, the product has been damaged, the product inside sometimes snaps off leaving it in the lid and I have had to return it for another one.
Avon are very obliging and will always send me another one.
With being a three in one product that saves on money and also space in your make-up bag. There's no need to buy a seperate...
