...A 4000-year-old copper mine recently discovered on the Great Orme is partially open to the public. Visitors first view two short videos, and then don helmets to visit the actual mine. The site is still being excavated and studied, and on the day I went an archaeologist was on his knees in the mud sifting through the debris with a trowel. One walks through tunnels in the first two levels of the mine, which go down to 60 feet under the surface, although more levels exist right down to 200 feet. At times it is necessary to bend low and to squeeze through fairly narrow openings. It can be a somewhat scary experience and is definitely not recommended to anyone with claustrophobia! Advantages: I love the changable back cover
Disadvantages: The battery's not so great

...I bought mine in August last year, and haven't looked back. As I was already on a contract with Vodafone, I got the handset for 19.99! Not bad hey! Before this I had an erricson t28. I have to say the battery life on the panasonic was not as good as my erricson, but the other features make up for that. (On average, I need to charge it every two days.) I love the colour screen, I keep changing mine from a blue, to purple clock. One of the selling features for me was definatly the changable back cover. I have a few flashing stickers on mine, and a pic of me, my boyfriend, and dad. It's a bit girly I know but why have a nokia like everyone else, when you can create your own cover for your phone. I predict more handsets will soon start being made with this feature. There is no predictive text, but as long as you don't have a long message... Read review

Advantages: Excellent fuel economy, reliable
Disadvantages: steering not as light as it could be

...Whats the catch? You don't get anything for nothing? Wrong when it comes to this car. I bought mine at one year old and now 6 years on I have had very little trouble with it. The biggest thing to go wrong was that I needed new suspension bushes (that was after I'd had it nearly three years). One of these cars at the age mine is (98) can be snapped up really cheap now and are still very reliable cars. Mine has done extremely heavy mileage and still purrs like a kitten and will do about 55 miles to the gallon (great when you're on a very tight budget!). Although I said the steering isn't as light as it could be its not as bad as some (the garage gave me a rover when I put mine in for a service and I could hardly turn the steering wheel, give me back my pug please!). .... At the entrance there is a charming little coffee house where you can purchase light meals, beer and, would you believe, coffee. Further to the coffee house there is a small souvenir shop with plenty of bits of tat ideal for bringing back to annoy those you left behind. After paying 7 euros at the mine entrance you are escorted by a tour guide down a very small tunnel for about 450 yards, as the tunnel comes to end it opens up into a series of large caverns. The tour guide we had was brilliant, he realised quickly that we were the only English speaking people there and gave the tour in both English and German, he was very funny and entertaining and made the whole experience very satisfying. At the far end of the mine it opens up into a really large cavern which has numerous candles stuck in all manner of nooks and crannies all around it... Read review

...The Siemens A55 is small, reliable, sturdy and cheap. It's easy to use and cheap to run, with good battery life of approx 60 hours continuous. If you're just looking for a bog-standard, no frills PAYG phone then this could be the one for you. It has space for 40 text messages, 100 phone numbers, and all the usual stuff, calculator, alarm clock, call records (including missed call feature and free missed call alert) games, voicemail, and a good selection of ring tones. It's not the top of the range, but then that's reflected in the very reasonable price of £35 (when I bought mine back in Nov 2003). Mine's still going strong despite being dropped about 15 times. ...Hi people, I own one of theese and think theyre great. pepoele say that you need the 80gb to be able to use it in any way at all but you dont. On mine i have 257 songs and 8 hours of vieo and it hasnt used no where near an 8th of the memory. the sound quality is great video playback is great and the battery life is unbeliveable. the games are a bit poor but otherwise very good buy!!! The only problem i had with mine and that is quite common in all piods is that my hard drive went up the shoot. i read through apples troubleshhoting and forums which were very helpful and that realised that it says if this doesnt work take it back to the shop you brought it from and then we will pick it up and fix it. they wre able to fix mine but if they cant you will be given a new one... Advantages: No more loose CDs
Disadvantages: Easy to damage

...Look: A stunning look and design. Featuring a black frontage and a chrome look back it simply looks the part in terms of an MP3 Player. It also features a failry large screen for easy viewing and for those with not such a keen eye lol. It is also fairlyslim and light (4.8 oz) so easily sits in your pocket without causing too much discomfort. IPOD and it's usage: I have an in-car kit for mine which wires straight into my car cd player. It sure beats carrying around lots of cd's in your car which end up damaged through just general use. I can jump in plug it in and away I go with continous music playback without the need to do any cd changing or even requiring a cd! I have over 1000 tunes on mine at the moment and its about 2/3 of the way of 30GB. The best feature has got to be the playlists. I have created many playlists... Read review
