My Tube Of Pleasure-Texas Barbecue Pringles
Review of Pringles Texas Barbecue Sauce by  debmercury

Advantages: Crispy, Delicious and they have a real barbecue flavour taste.
Disadvantages: You Have To Eat Them All

...I love Pringles Texas Barbecue flavour and they always seem to jump into my trolley when I am shopping (naughty Pringles now I will have to eat you). When you are in a Snack Attack Mood nothing else will do. It's that crispy delicious distinct dry potato taste that gets me every time and well there doesn't seem any point leaving any in the tube. About Pringles The Pringles recipe was made in 1956. In 1964 Pringles went into production. The distinctive Pringle can was introduced in 1970 and by 1998 Pringles where available in 40 countries round the world. Crunchy facts about Pringles Pringles are available worldwide in 45 flavours. You can buy Pringles in more than 100 countries. Brad Pitt appeared in a Pringles advert in 1982. The famous Pringles logo is "Once you pop you can't stop". Pringles are made by Proctor... HOMEPRIDE BARBECUE COOK-IN-SAUCE
Review of Homepride Barbecue sauce cookin by  kismet

Advantages: tasty, easy to use
Disadvantages: none

...Please ignore the picture here as I am reviewing the tinned product and anyway the picture is of Chicken Tonight!!! (Does anybody know how I can contact Ciao to get this changed?) I have added a picture of the tin at the end of this review. The actual product is Homepride Barbecue Cook-In-Sauce. It comes in a tin, weight 500g. I like Cooking sauces as I eat a lot of chicken and like to spice it up a bit without adding a lot of extra calories or fat. The barbecue sauce is ideal as it is low in fat. NUTRITION INFORMATION ++++++++++++++++++++++ per 100g: 83kcal Fat 1.7g - saturates 0.1g Sodium 0.5g INGREDIENTS +++++++++++++ Some of the major ingredients are: Tomatoes, Onion, Sweetcorn, Red Peppers, Green Peppers, LOOK +++++ Open the can. A light barbecue spicy smell hits you. The sauce is very... Read review

A Book for all Seasons...
Review of Ainsley's Ultimate Barbecue Bible by  satyamkhurana

Advantages: OVER 150 RECIPES FROM AROUND THE WORLD, BARBECUE OR GRILL OPTION, EASILY AVAILABLE
Disadvantages: ?

.... Even if you are new to the art of barbecue cooking or you are an expert. What I like most about this book is that it not only gives you perfect barbecue recipes but first makes you learn cooking skills and nitty-gritty involved. This book is very informative and covers every bit of barbecue cooking. The barbecue season is over, yet I follow the recipes on the grill. So this is an over-the-year-round book. You can find recipes from Thailand, Greece, Jamaica, Australia, South Africa, China and European countries in this book. Some of the recipes are hard and some are simple. So I have started with the simple ones so as to have enough experience before the next barbecue season. Looking at the pictures of the recipes help me with my presentation of the food. This book really helped us buy the right kind of barbecue suiting our needs... Read review

A Tasty Stonebaked Barbecue Chicken Pizza
Review of Co-op Stonebaked Barbecue Chicken Pizza by  mints4merlin

Advantages: Quick, good for you and tasty :)
Disadvantages: Not as much cheese on as we would like

...too. The base is floury and tastes nice to dip into a garlic and herb dip too. Theres not too much tomato puree either which further adds to the delights so flavours of the barbecue chicken and gorgeous sauce lashed over the top can truely be enjoyed! Overall 4 stars rating it's an affordable option to actually cooking at only £2.50, is a decent size too, great for sharing although i could have happily eatent the whole thing having been busy all day and had worked up an appetite. You may want to add some extra cheese as we would have done if i'd remembered to pick up some grated mozerella - as you dont get much on the pizza itself, infact you get more chicken and sauce than any cheese really. But still hits the spot and the sauce is one of the nicest tasting barbecue ones ever. Definately worth a try - idea for summer. Thank you... Read review

Barbecue Convert - Thanks to the Weber Gold BBQ
Review of Weber One Touch" Gold Barbecue" by  onionsj

Advantages: Superb results, Easily moved around, lots of accessories
Disadvantages: Grill size / shape - means it's difficult to fit in the sink to clean

...I have always been adamant that I do not like barbecued food. My previous experiences had been charcoaled sausages - black on the outside, raw in the middle. All other food crisp with a charred flavoured seasoning. YUCK! After a period of my partner trying to convince me otherwise, and that with the long hot summer providing a good excuse to eat outside, I finally accepted defeat and agreed to purchase a BBQ. After looking around at the various options the Weber provided the best quality and value for money! The Weber range is endless with both charcoal and gas versions on offer. The Weber "one touch" Gold is a charcoal version. It is mid range with SIlver (low) and Platinum (high). They also come in two gril sizes 18.5" and 22.5" Prices for the Gold are between £129 and £159, Silver £99 - 129, Platinum £199... Read review

Captain Theo's Barbecue Cruise
Review of Captain Theo's Barbecue Cruise by  allyoxley

Advantages: Fabulous Day out for everybody
Disadvantages: it has to come to an end

...and everybody was singing and having water fights and acting no better than the kids. As it approached lunchtime we stopped at a bay known as Limnopoula (close to Kassiopi). The bay was filled with sunbeds but not a soul was to be seen, nor a building or anything except this deserted beach. The boat moored a little way out, but a bridge was placed down for us to reach the beach. Whilst moored here, everyone was diving from the boat into the crystal waters, the beach was so clean and the sea was as clear as tap water. Theo and his crew set up the barbecue here, and hey what a barbie it was, the food was delicious with steaks, chops, sausages and all the other norm babrbie meat, there was salads galore, potatoes everything you could want and tons of it, you just kept going back as much as you wanted and it just never run out. Nor did the wine... Read review

Round Trip
Review of Member Advice on Going Round the World by  torr

Advantages: World enough
Disadvantages: And time?

...Sometimes I think that there are two kinds of people in the world. Obviously these are not my clearest-thinking times, since there are many more than two kinds of people in the world, as anyone who has been around the world and seen a few of them will tell you. Nevertheless, the two categories into which I am tempted to divide people are these: (i) Those who want to travel round the world and regard the desirability of doing so as self-evidently obvious, and (ii) Those who don't, and who regard it as incomprehensible. If you are one of the latter, read no further, in the unlikely event that you have even read this far. I have always wanted to travel round the world. You could say that I have always wanted to travel full stop, and even if round the world is travelling without full stop it is still clearly the ultimate... Read review

# "Coming round to meet you, the Long Way Round"
Review of Ewan McGregor And Charley Boorman - Long Way Round (Director's Cut) (Special Edition) by  BlueMidget

Advantages: Extremely funny, entertaining and touching in places
Disadvantages: None really worth mentioning

...'The Long Way Round' is essentially a travelling diary of the adventures of best friends Ewan McGregor (Star Wars, Trainspotting) and Charley Boorman (On Edge, The Bunker) as they travel from London to New York via Europe, Russia, Mongolia and other countries with nothing but themselves, their motorbikes and their camera man Claudio, (plus a small support crew following behind, but rarely interfering with their journey). They get themselves in some very peculiar situations, have a few near-death experiences, they laugh and they fall off their bikes on many, many occasions. I never actually saw this show on television, but when I was visiting my sister I watched their copy of the DVD and was completely taken by the show, (so much so I ordered my own copy the moment I got home). The friendship between Ewan and Charley is obvious... Read review

Marymoose goes round the twist!
Review of Round The Twist - Series 2 DVD by  marymoose99

Advantages: Classic Australian Kid's TV which still amuses me now!
Disadvantages: Might not appeal as much to those who didn't watch it originally.

...With hubby out for the day I was left to my own devices and decided to have a trip down memory lane and put on "Round the Twist" series 2. Introduction to Round The Twist Round The Twist was an Australian children's TV programme, with the first series being made in 1989. I have many happy memories of watching the first series with my older brother, and although I was 8 and he was 19 we both enjoyed it. For a children's TV programme the humour is pretty dark at times, and that's why it appeals to all ages - you've got to love the Aussies! Round the Twist follows the lives of the Twist family - Mr Twist (Tony), a widower and his three children 13 year old twins Pete and Linda, and younger son Bronson (aged 8). In series 1 the family moved to Port Niranda to live in a lighthouse, little did they know that a whole... Read review

The Long Way Round!
Review of Long Way Round by  Princess_pretty18

Advantages: It teaches us that we are all just people regardless of our race, ocupation, and location
Disadvantages: A Bit Long

...Ok so i was asked to write an essay about what makes Long Way Round such an interesting read, so i did, but it turned out to be more like a book review so i redid it and this is what i cam out with!! What makes 'Long Way Round' such an interesting read? 'Long Way Round' by Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman is an interesting read because we learn that we are all just people, regardless of our race, location or occupation. In this essay I am going to explain why this book is such an interesting read. First a quick summary of the book. Ewan and Charlie, both famous film actors travel the 20000 miles from London to New York the long way round. Along the way they encounter many difficulties and meet a lot of people form different cultures. Going through, places like, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Alaska. To start of with, we are all...
