Tantra Bath Salts
Review of Lotus Emporium Tantra Bath Salts by  mandynoble

Advantages: just plain wonderful - relaxing, luxurious, affordable, novel (rose petals), combats dry skin & leaves you really relaxed
Disadvantages: you have to use quite a lot per bath but at £5 a jar, who cares!

...GORGEOUS. If like me, you think of your gran when you hear the words "Bath Salts" you'll be reluctant to try this product - you couldn't be more wrong. Imagine being stressed out, tired skin, feeling a bit sorry for yourself. Now imagine an exoticaly scented bath, with soothing action and real floating rose petals! This stuff is what a quiet 1/2 hour to yourself is all about, I can't recommend it enough and I'm now going to make it my mission in life to try everything Lotus Emporium make. The product is hand made from essentail oils, enviromentaly friendly, cheap, made in the UK and available via the web or telephone.... Read review

Forget the bubbles go for the salt
Review of Radox Bath Salts by  WAD1-2-3

Advantages: -
Disadvantages: -

...It’s a cold night, you’ve had a long hard day so you need to have a long bath, when I mean long I really do mean a long soak. The perfect way to do that is by adding Radox Bath Salts. At just £1.30 they are extremely good value and they last you ages. It comes in a box and all you have to do is add a required amount to the water and just soak yourself in. Perfect for soothing aches and pains and just making you relax. It’s good to use after a long day as it can really refresh you, and relive stress etc. I don’t normally have a bath, a shower is the norm. But, when I have time to time the best way to relax and get rid of the stresses and strains is by lying in a hot bath. I like Radox products, they are cheap and good. They are good on your skin and leave it feeling gentle and smooth. Radox Bath... Read review

Bath like cleopatra
Review of Muji Milk Bath Salts by  amy_mont

Advantages: see text
Disadvantages: see text

...I am deeply in love with these milk bath salts that I got from Boots yesterday. I had really bad stomach pains this morning and ran a bath and added these to it. The first thing I noticed was that they fizzed for a little while, pooping around the bath, before producing a lovely fresh, vanillary milky smell. The bath water turned a misty while colour and the bath salts soon dissolved very quickly. The bath salts come in a very cool plastic jar with chinese writing on the front wich looks great in the bathroom. The jar is large and it only costs £2.95,and thats really good. The bath salts leave your skin feeling silky and soft but I would addvise you to clip your hair up before you get in the bath as the bath salts make your hair tangley, brittle and dry. Apart from that every thing about this product is great! You can buy it from... Read review

Join Me In My Bath Girls
Review of Radox Bath Salts by  art1954

Advantages: Relaxing
Disadvantages: No female company

...I love a good Soak.. ----------------------- If like myself you have had a hard day, doing all those jobs that the wife wants you to do and you cant hide in the toilet anymore then follow my example and take a bath. Now myself I prefer a bath to a shower,I know loads of people prefer the shower and would argue its more hygenic but I prefer the bath for many reasons. For a start you have escaped from the family and at last you have a bit of time to unwind and think"what to hell am I going to write about next",you do dont do you. Anyway its no good without bubble bath,I think so anyway and it has to be good bubble bath so I pick Radox, not the liquid but the salts,I find them better. I prefer Lavender and its like a Menthol sort of salt,I forget the name but im sure someone will remind me. So I fill the bath 3... Read review

Salt that is good for you
Review of Tesco Spa Salt Rub by  Lovin_Angel

Advantages: Makes you feel fresh and clean and revitalised
Disadvantages: Can be uncomfortable standing on the granules in the shower.

...People spend most of their lives telling you that salt is bad for you – well I’m here to prove them wrong! The salt in question is: ~ SPA – Invigorating & Exfoliating Salt Rub ~ This is a 300g tub of stuff made for Tesco. I got it for my birthday along with the SPA foam bath and shower gel. I was not sure what I should do with it first as it is a clear tub with a blue/aquamarine lid. It has: SPA written in bid silver letters down the front of the tub and on the top of the lid. Due to the fact that the tub is clear you can see the contents of it. You will see a green substance that is like granules. This is because it is made from natural sea salt. The first ingredient is: Maris Sal and I shan’t even go into the other ingredients because they are long foreign words to me. The one thing it does say... Read review

JUST.BCOZ's PEARL BATH TIME SHOCKER
Review of Nougat Soothing Bath Pearls by  just.bcoz

Advantages: fragrance, softer smoother feeling skin. relaxing
Disadvantages: ££££PRICE IS EXPENSIVE

...a lot healthier and smoother. Even although these Soothing Bath Pearls are expensive, I think that they are truly worth paying that bit extra for. If you haven't already tired any of Nougat London's products then I highly recommend that you do so as you wont be disappointed with any of them. I have yet to find one which I dislike, you can also purchase the Nougat Soothing Bath Pearls in the Fig and cedar fragrance of the Jasmine and Tuberose doesn't appeal to you. When I have finished my bottle of Bath Pearls I will rinse it out and peel of the label on the front of it and fill it with some coloured sand or bath salts and sit it in my bathroom which I did with my empty bottle of Nougat Bubble Bath. Nougat London's products contain the finest luxury ingredients, and none of their products or ingredients are tested on animals. If you... Read review

The Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub
Review of The Sanctuary Salt scrub by  shazzaspannered

Advantages: Smells Divine, Relaxing Bath Treatment and Body Scrub in 1
Disadvantages: Can leave greasy film inside bath

.... The first thing you notice when you open the jar is the amazing smell. It is virtually impossible to sum up the aroma of Sanctuary products to someone who has never smelt them it is so unique but if you imagine a fragrance that seems to make you drift off to a magical place, helps you relax and feel revived then that's what it is. I always say the best way to experience the smell is to just go and have a sniff next time you are in Boots as most of the sanctuary products have the same base smells and then have their own little twist on that added to them. The scrub is very thick, containing dead sea salt (a well known ingredient), evening primrose oil and sweet almond oil it is full of active ingredients. You basically take a small amount out of the jar using your hand and then apply to the skin in a circular rubbing motion to scrub off dead... Read review

A Mermaid's Bath
Review of Lush Bath Ballistics Big Blue by  Lizard_Lover

Advantages: Invigorating, smells gorgeous
Disadvantages: Seaweed left in the bath after using

.... The smell that rises from a bath full of Big Blue is amazing. Lavender and lemon oil mixed with a slight saltiness bring me ever more closer to that ocean fantasy, and it is easy to daydream your cares away whilst luxuriating in the wonderful aromas. Although the lavender oil is relaxing, the lemon oil has an enlivening effect as do the sea salt crystals that are caked on the top of the ballistic. Big Blue leaves a smooth sheen to my skin and the oil penetrates deep down to leave it feeling clean and soft. My skin feels fabulous after Big Blue has waved his magic wand. Not only does it glow and feel silky smooth, the smell of the ballistic lingers for hours afterwards and every so often I get a whiff of the seaside. Could a bathing experience possibly get any better? Well, if Big Blue is used together with the Lush Sea Vegetable soap, trust... Read review
