A Battery Life Less Ordinary
Review of Trust PowerMaster PSP Battery Pack PW-2992p Lithium Ion by
sghawken
Advantages: Great longevity
Disadvantages: Awkward and annoying
...The big problem with the battery of a PSP is that unlike the main competition (GBA, NDS) which have great battery life, the PSP does not; in fact you'll get barely more than 2 hours out of it. With this in mind I was quite intrigued by the powermaster battery that offers considerably more charge for your pound.
Plus's often come with minus's and the first minus is the size of this battery; in short it's a damn size bigger than the one that comes as standard. So much bigger its sticks out considerably more too. This forms part of issue number two, it's now more awkward to hold. Once you got used to the size of the standard battery having this big monster sticking out the back comes as quite a shock. Shocks go hand in hand with annoyance, the battery pack now feels loose so loose that you often actually pull the battery off by accident...

Why you may never need to buy batteries again
Review of Uniross - Battery charger - 14 hr - 4xAA/AAA, 2x9V - included batteries: 4 x AA type NiMH 1300 mAh by
Drone007
Advantages: Speed, reduce in cost of batterues
Disadvantages: battery time gets shorter as used more
...power my digital camera for about 6 hours with the screen on before dying. They also run my wireless optical mouse for about 2 weeks.
If you have a lot of electrical items that use them, I recommend getting another set of 4 so you can have some charging or ready and others in use.
One problem, however as with all rechargeable batteries is that as they are charged more, there battery life slowly shortens and need to be replaced.
The best idea I hav found is to use the batteries during the day and charge them at night whilst sleeping, however Ir estrain from charging unless the battery is empty to increase the lifespan of the battery.
The following batteries can be charged on this charger, though not at the same time unfortunately.
AA batteries = 4
AAA batteries = 4
9V cell = 2
Overall this is a very good value set & highyl...

Sweet Chocolate v Battery Acid
Review of battery-force.co.uk by
markd_uk
Advantages: Great batteries at Great prices, with free chocolates
Disadvantages: It's not as easy as popping to the shop
...Whatever we do in life, these days we often need to put batteries in something that's designed to make our lives easier, more entertaining, more exciting or simply more fun.
From the triple-A's in your television remote control to the 2CR5 in your digital camera, the C-size in your doorbell ringer to the D-size in your child's favourite toy and on to the AA battery for that toy in your bedroom that gives your bedtimes a more exciting buzz, batteries are all around us, in a variety of shapes and sizes, brands and prices.
But buying batteries can be an arduous, and often expensive, task that leaves one frustrated. At birthdays you've invariably bought the wrong size battery for the present you're giving - if you've remembered it takes batteries at all - and when the Ever Readys in your torch are no longer ready for that powercut you...

Hahnel NiMh 2350mAh AA Rechargeable Batteries
Review of NiMH Batteries by
Eldred
Advantages: Long Lasting, Durable, Cost Effective, Colour Coded
Disadvantages: None as yet !
...Being a camera 'dummy' who literally likes to point and snap, I finally decided to venture into the digital camera market last year fed up with the poor quality and out of focus pictures I was taking with my 10 year old 35mm camera.
I found a special offer on Ebay, 'Pentax 33LF - for under £100', I read the reviews, purchased and received my new camera a couple of days later.
Like a child with a new toy, I was taking pictures of everything and anything I could see. I was very impressed with the pictures that were being produced, the only trouble was the camera was costing me a fortune in batteries. The batteries that arrived with the camera lasted a very short time so I bought some brand new Ever Ready 'long-life' ones, these were not cheap but unfortunately went the same way and didn't last long.
I checked the Pentax user...
