...I reciently recieved a few baby gifts from my mother and one of those gifts was a hooded towel. she also gave my 8 year old son a hooded towel. So not only do I have one hooded towel, I now have two hodded towels and they are super thick. One towel has a ducks face on the hood , the other towel has a dogs face. I thought they were so cute. I'm not trying to be unappreciative or anything of the sort. I am glad to recieve them because the kids love them, but the towels are realy big, they are hard to fold and wont fit in my closet what so ever. You can imagine how big they both are when they fit an 8 year old. The towel drapes over the front of you and drapes over your back with a hood attached. Advantages: Aborbant, small for packing
Disadvantages: a bit small

...I purchase one of these about a year ago and it has been fairly good. There are many advantages this has over a regular beach towel, but the disadvantages are also highly apparent. But firstly the advantages: 1. It is unbelievable small compared to a regualr towel and with its size comes a huge decrease in weight too. Now although this is especially important for trekkers and backpackers it is also useful for holiday makers who want to save that bit more space in their suitcase. 2. Unlike normal holiday towels this one is super absorbant too. They are very small and you only just keep your dignity but with this tiny towel you can easily dry your whole body. 3. They are very soft too, which i suppose is connected to their absorbancy, so when you lay it down on the beach its actually nice to lay ontop of it unlike the rather rough... Read review

Advantages: Great food, clean and friendly.
Disadvantages: No beach, lost sister Hotel Grand Oasis, the 5.30am sunbed securing

...Just returned from this hotel, very nice clean friendly hotel with a fantastic restaurant, but my only gripe is that the hotel is no longer part of the 'Tropicana' group and as such the deal is off as far as using the 'Tropicana Grand Oasis' facilities and beach! It's now owned by 'Amarante' This makes a huge crimp in your stay firstly as a beach user or snorkeller as Garden Palms has no beach and the bus service run by the hotel now takes you to a local public beach about 20 mins away, as you can imagine the beach is crammed full, so it is difficult to get shade when you need it and it's not particularly clean, second problem that arises from the 'no beach' situation is that if you want to sit around the pool a bed needs to be secured with your towel by 6am, this is made a problem by not enough beds for everyone and no-where else... ...type is four out of five drips (ewww) with five out of five being the heaviest and yet they are still wafer thin and extremely discrete. The packaging is excellent and the towels are individually wrapped for more hygiene and also to make them easier to take with you. The top of the packaging is perforated for ease of opening and there is lots of information on the packaging. There is four easy pictures on how to use the towels and I suppose there is people who will need to read the instructions as my partner thought the sticky side stuck to your bits and not your pants (ouch!) so I guess there is some uniformed people about. Also people using them for the first time would find the pictures helpful. These sanitary towels shouldn't be flushed away as the packaging states they can end up on beaches and in rivers. Advantages: Unbelieveble close to the city, nice like any tourist resort, almost never crowded
Disadvantages: I can't think of any

Some people might have heard of Bondi Beach during the Olympics as it was the place where the Beach Volleyball competitions took place. Unbelievable as it sounds for us European Bondi Beach is not only one of the best Breaks in the Southern Hemisphere but also right in the heart of Sydney. It lays just around the corner of Sydney Harbour and is one of the most beautiful places in Sydney. How to get there? ------------------ Bondi Beach is probably one of the only surf spots to reach with the local Bus. You just hop on - I believe the blue line - and it takes you and your surfboard or your volleyball or towel right to the beach. By car easy access as well. The sand is fine and white, which contrasts beatifully with the deep blue (and deep green in parts) water. The waves are moderate to large at times, however the best times to experience a calm ocean is usually at 6am, or 6pm. During these times, the sunrise or sunset both provide stunning backdrops to a very beautiful beach. At these times, it is always best to either lay out on a beach towel or beach chair and absorb the feeling of deep calm in this beach paradise. Advantages: Clean goldan sandy beach and clear shallow water.
Disadvantages: gets very crowded

...The island of Rhodes does lack one thing, and that is really nice sandy beaches. Most of them, including nearby Lardos and even the beaches of Faliaraki are a little stony and containe a good deal of shingle. Pefkos beach however is one of the best on the island for clean golden sand and clear shallow water that is ideal for families. For about 8 Euros you can hire two sunbeds and umbrella for the whole day. The sunbeds do really dominate the beach which is only about 400 metres long and no more than 20 metres deep, so there is very little room for you to just arrive with your towel under your arm and lay where you want. If you are content to lie relaxing in the sun and go for a really refreshing swim in calm shallow waters then this is the beach for you. ...When I first started my periods a few years ago now, my mum always bought me my sanitary towels. She always used to buy the cheap bulky ones because that’s what she used! Unfortunately for me they weren't what I wanted! I experimented with tampons for a while but never got used to them and then I found these! Now don’t get me wrong, tampons have their place in life, just not in me! Lol I’ve always found them to be quite uncomfortable and period pains seem worse when wearing them, although I can’t really think why! Having said that they are definitely useful if you are a keen swimmer or for when you go to the beach because you can’t exactly wear a towel with your bikini!!! Advantages: Dont leave the chair. Just browse and phone, and you can almost be guaranteed quality.
Disadvantages: Some ladies clothing go's quickly and special offers are usually gone by the time I get the leaflet

...This is a rewrite - in order to keep up my average. (Thanks Ken!) New Stuff... Towels - I hate them. I'm talking bath towels, hand towels, face towels they all have different names and some have little pictures of flowers or dolphins on, but in the end are they all not just huge nappys fashioned from coloured terry towelling, rectangular shaped and dyed, in order to dry your bits whilst you emerge from your hot bath - Yes? No.... Towels I have recently discovered are different. My discovery is all thanks to my fave catalogue, Freemans. When my partner & I moved into our new home, we brought with us a hotch potch of scratchy towels in blues, nasty beach looking ones and dark reds, all purchased because at our last home we had a black marble bathroom, and - i tried to convince myself - they suited it!
