Belkin 2-Port KVM Switch With Built-In Cabling
Review of Belkin 2-Port KVM Switch with Built-In Cabling - KVM switch - 2 ports by  ilaskey

Advantages: Advantages: Cheap, all in one solution
Disadvantages: No manual overide or audio support

...It's surprising how many people have more than one PC at home although even more surprising is that many of them each have their own screen, keyboard and mouse. In many cases this makes perfect sense but sometimes, you know you'll only ever use one or the other - perhaps one is your general PC and the other your music workstation. In these situations you can save a lot of space and money by investing in a KVM switch. KVM stands for Keyboard, Video and Mouse and allows you to use one keyboard, mouse and screen shared between two PCs. This particular unit from Belkin is unusual in that it comes with all the leads permanently attached instead of being supplied as a separate cabling set. Wiring it Up Installation is simply a matter of taking each of the two main cables and plugging the sets of leads in to each PC. The Belkin KVM... Read review

Belkin Power Cable
Review of Belkin Components Power cable Power 3-pole by  coopsta133

Advantages: Works perfectly, Fits Snug, Lengthy enough
Disadvantages: None

...I bought this for plugging in my computer because the power supply I had to buy did not include one. There isn't much to say on a power cable so this is about all I could think of. My main reasons for choosing this where because I knew Belkin is a very respectable brand for when it comes to electronic connector cables and its length suited my needs perfectly. I found that the cable fits very snugly into the back of my computer so that when it gets knocked about for some reason (kicking from mad frustration during games :) ) then it does not fall out. It is easily strong enough to hold its own weight in so it doesn't pull itself out- which is a problem one of my crappy computer monitors was having. This caused me to buy a second one for my computer monitor as I was overall 100% pleased with this one. It has never failed me causing... Read review

Route Me This Way---> ALL THE WAY TO BELKIN -__-"
Review of Belkin Cable/DSL Gateway Router 4-port - router by  Saiyan

Advantages: Belkin Lifetime Warranty and free technical support, Compact! saves space
Disadvantages: Manual's contents are limited - doesn't go into depth.

...’t want to waste time in configuring every computer or reading a manual from beginning to end. The Belkin 4 port router is really good for sharing (distributing) an internet connection between a number of computers. As its plug and play you connect each computer’s network card into the back of the router (using RJ-45 type cables – they look like telephone cables but double the size), after that is accomplished the router would specify an internal ip address (numbers such as 192.168.200.1 to specify each computers identity) to each of those computers. As the Belkin router’s protocol default settings are to allow any one with that ip address to share the internet connection it does. As soon as each computer is connected to the router (Pc or Mac Network card to the LAN(Local Area Network) port in the router), the broadband modem... Read review

Belkin - High-Speed Mode Wirless G Router
Review of Belkin Wireless Cable/DSL Gateway Router wireless router by  derek-j-a

Advantages: High speed sharing of internet connection. Free on-line and phone help
Disadvantages: A bit tricky to set up for me at first..

...though they kept saying, "it's up to you mate, but we can put it downstairs and you can use a wireless router." That, I thought, would have meant opening my brand new computer and putting in a wireless PCI card. No way was I prepared to do that. I wanted my new machine to be wired and my wife's to connect wirelessly, so with a few sighs they set about installing the cable where I wanted it. After considerable furniture shifting in our bedroom so that the cable could be routed through it (no pun intended), we had our first connection and got it working. The very next day - I'm a glutton for punishment - we went out to look at some routers. The Belkin G router, is what the helpful assistant in PC World advised us to get as we were connected to cable broadband with NTL. Questions I had were, "will the wireless connection connect... Belkin 54g Wireless Cable/DSL Router
Review of Belkin Wireless G Router F5D7230-4 - wireless router by  DaveLloyd180

Advantages: Mut's Nuts Fast
Disadvantages: Not idiot proof

...Q - HELP! A - RTFM. OK! But if you can't be bothered to read the manual then you can always ring the freephone helpline, somewhere in punjhabi-land, they understand that you are English - and end up calling their "rowter" a "rooter" - so by the end of the call ... (allow a/b*c =t where a = idiot level; b=have you read the manual, c=phone charge and t=time spent wasted where you should have done b) ... you are up and running. And there you are - one fully functional Mut's Nuts wireless network. We chose wireless to - - save drilling holes in floors, ceilings and walls - running cables through heating ducts and some holes. We chose Belkin ' cos at the time of purchase we could get all the bits for a whole network** all in the same shop*. * Use PCW at your peril, as ever. They insisted we needed a wireless... Belkin - It does work
Review of Belkin 54g Wireless Cable/DSL Router by  stargatesg1uk

Advantages: Creates an Internet Network
Disadvantages: Uses up yet another plug socket.

...This is the Belkin 54g Wirless Cable Router. For a while now I have had an NTL Cable line in my room giving me access to the Internet. One day I decided to upgrade my connection to BroadBand. After I received Broadband, my family liked it so much that they wanted to join in. And so we bought this product. This product is connected to my PC and will allow any PC within a certain distance around it to connect to the same Internet connection as long as they have a Wireless Network card plugged into their PC's. The PC that has the Cable Router plugged into it does not require a wireless network card as they are the ones directly connected to the Internet. The Router is very slim in design and has a little stand at the bottom so that it can sit up right. There are also two holes in the back so that you can hook it up on to a wall... Read review

Great Belkin USB product
Review of Belkin Pro Series USB Extension Cable USB extender by  Rubeenio

Advantages: gives you an extra 1.8 meters on any USB product
Disadvantages: none

...that could connect my headset to the computer and let me use it, and this is what I did. I trudged down to my local PC world and paid a little money for a 1.8 meter Belkin Pro Series USB Extension Cable and was very very happy with it when I got home. It is very well made with a nice thick rubber protective rapping over the wire inside so unless you cut it with a knife its not going to be damaged if you full on it a little or even a allot. It supports all standard USB ports with its well made male plug (the bit that goes into the computer) and on the other end of the cable has a nice thick female port (the bit that you will stick your USB device in) I have had no problems with this cable at all, it doesn't suffer from any lag and because it has a thick cable it doesn't snap or damage if you catch it with you feet while its laying on the floor... Belkin routers in a nutshell
Review of Belkin Cable/DSL Gateway Router 4-port - router by  maphack

Advantages: Easy to set up
Disadvantages: Have to restart it when you boot up your computer with Windows XP, unreliable

...the router seemed to reset when browsing certain websites such as MSN Gaming Zone. One of the routers I bought actually just stopped working not so long ago, couldn't really get to the source of the problem, but this router is very unreliable. The other one is still functional. I replaced the broken one with a Linksys Etherfast Cable/DSL Router MODEL: BEFSR41 and I've had no problems with it, and its just as easy to setup and round about the same price. The manual which came with it wasn't too helpful either, and didn't get me any closer to solving any of the above problems. So in a nutshell - easy to set up and unreliable and looks very sleek too, it also has an attachment at the side if you wanted to connect other Belkin components to it.... Read review
