BOOTS MEDITERRANEAN Melon Sugar Mint body scrub.
Review of Boots Mediterranean Sugar Mint Body Scrub by
NataliePhelan
Advantages: Smells good enough to eat. Gorgeous gooey gummy consistency.
Disadvantages: None

ABOUT THE RANGE
************************
About two years ago Boots Launced their Mediterranean range, which included bath and body products laced with mediterranean ingredients such as olives, almonds, milk and fruits. There are shower gels and bath foams that are scented with ripened figs, face cream packed with almonds and milk and this, the item Im reviewing, a sumptuous body scrub packed with melon and sugar.

MY EXPERIENCE
************************
Ive tried a few products in this range and this is the one I keep going back for. Its utterly delicious. I got my first pot of this delicious scrub in a special box for my 18th birthday. My boyfriend bought a big bift box and bought me loads of goodies to pack inside it. Woo!
I instantly loved the smell of this scrub...

SHOWER YOURSELF IN MEDITERRANEAN LUXURY
Review of Boots Mediterranean Body Wash by
starlight7
Advantages: Three luscious varieties to choose from, smells gorgeous, leaves your skin feeling ultra smooth.
Disadvantages: Perhaps slightly more expensive than standard body washes.
...Boots Mediterranean body wash makes even the most hum-drum shower just a little more, well... Mediterranean.
Don't believe me? Read on!
The Boots Mediterranean range, usually in a section all to itself, offers a tempting selection of high quality products made with NATURAL ingredients, like almond and wheat germ, hazelnut and orange. If you love Lush, this stuff is along the same lines, but perhaps slightly more affordable. And best of all, everything in it smells alluringly scrumptious!
I have yet to discover the entire range, but the body wash itself is truly an exotic treat. Priced at £3.95 and often on offer, it comes in tidy 200 mL tubes that rest on attractive black lids. The product name is large and graphically pleasing, the descriptions below are in both English and French (which perhaps adds to its exotic...

Organic and natural from Boots
Review of Boots Mediterranean Almond Milk Pistachio Cleansing Balm by
verda
Advantages: Refreshing and cheap
Disadvantages: Itchy on the neck
...I bought this Boots Mediterranean Almond Milk Pistachio Cleansing Balm for under £5.00, a few months ago, when the price was reduced. I bought it from my local Boots store, in town.
The container has a black lid. The bottom half of the pot is see-through plastic and you can see the white balm inside it. The front label has the name of the product on it, and a picture of an almond. The pot contains 200mL of the balm.
When I opened the pot, a nice aroma of almond and pistachio's could be smelt. When touched, the balm was soft, due to the milk, and the nourishing organic almond, and pistachio oils. The balm was very cool and cold to the touch.
When applied to the face, it was easily spread able, with my fingertips.
Since it was my first time to use a facial balm in my life, I decided to thoroughly read the instructions...

Mediterranean smoothie!
Review of Boots Mediterranean Body Butter Olive, Bergamot, Orange by
WeeDee83
Advantages: Smell, consistancy, smooth skin
Disadvantages: none!
...This product is one of the best moisturisers I have ever tried.
It is available in two sizes, 200ml (£5.00) and 100ml (£2.00). So you are better off buying two smaller sizes and saving a pound, strange way to price these boots! It's packaging is nice and simple in a clear tub with a black lid with large writing on it.
When you first look at the product it looks like a greasy, mint green coloured mush if that makes sense! I was a bit wary of it but once you scoop it out it feels a bit like a thick mousse. It smooths onto skin easily and is surprisingly absorbed quickly into your skin leaving it soft and supple. It leaves a beautiful orange smell to your skin to though this is not overpowering.
I have psoriasis and very sensitive skin but it was very good with me, left my skin feeling really good without the slightest bit...

My Skin Is Soo Kissable...With The Nutty Butter
Review of Boots Mediterranean Almond Pistachio & Milk Body Butter by
karimkha
Advantages: Gorgeous smell, instant shine and long lasting.
Disadvantages: Can be very addictive.
...I have used this product on and off for over 2 years; I still use it because it's truly different, very exotic and exciting to use. I like the texture, thickness and especially the sweet, gorgeous SMELL! This was my main reason for buying it in the first place.
I had run out of body moisturiser (I use it a lot), so I headed to my favourite shop, Boots, looking for a new moisturiser, as I like to change fragrances fairly often. This is my advice to you; never use a body moisturizer more than a couple of months, or you will gradually lose the sense of smell (honestly!). As usual, Boots likes to surprise us with new and different products and they had added this new range of products which they called MEDITERRANEAN; they had done the perfect job so far, just by their choice of name !
I saw this new range displayed...

BOOTS - NO LONGER JUST "THE CHEMIST"
Review of Boots (Shop) by
karimkha
Advantages: Advantage points; Health and Beauty products; much more
Disadvantages: Can be expensive; poor customer service.
...and drink, you can find most drinks there from milky to fizzy and some sandwiches with healthy options plus some confectionery as well. A main item, drink and snack item is a 'meal deal' at up to £2.99 (£3.49 in London and other 'premier' locations).
* Gifts - You can see these temporary departments appear before special occasions like Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas & New Years, Easter, and Valentine's Day (I almost forgot about it) (followed by a sale).
Boots Own Brands and Ranges.
Boots has its own cosmetic brand, the famous No.7 and No.17 for cosmetics and skin care; also a few others, such as the Mediterranean; plants extract (botanic); natural remedies, and lots more. They also extended their brand to produce their own medications, confectionery, and baby products. They almost cover everything.

An average, albeit lack-lustre body moisturiser
Review of Boots Mediterranean Almond Pistachio & Milk Body Butter by
goldenc4
Advantages: Thick consistency and light smell
Disadvantages: Lack of nourishment to dry skin
...Why I Purchased This Product:
**********************************
I was given this body butter as part of a Boots 'Mediterranean' set for Christmas 2006 and it's taken me a while to open it- mostly due to the large number of body moisturisers that I have already. It's not the type of thing I'd usually go for, as it's not fragrance-free, and it's slightly above my price bracket for a product from a little-established range.
The Product's Selling Points:
********************************
It contains organic almond oil, pistachio oil and milk extract- all included due to their moisturising properties. As a sufferer of very dry skin myself, I was hoping it would live up to its claims…..
The Packaging:
******************
At first glance the body butter is contained within a relatively uninspiring tub. It is the standard...

The Essence of Loveliness
Review of Boots Mediterranean Honey, Fig & Vanilla Bath Essence by
supersexycoolchick1
Advantages: Smells wonderful, foams well
Disadvantages: Hard to find, bit pricey
...Not wanting to be cast as a 'one trick pony' for only writing perfume ops, I decided to try out some other beauty products I have in my cupboard at home this weekend and thought this would be a good place to start as I've had this bottle in my bathroom since the beginning of last year and absolutely love the smell.
The bottle I own is 150ml bottle which I received as part of a gift set from a friend who had previously told me about the Mediterranean range Boots were doing and how lovely most of the products smelt. Personally, I adore trying products in gift sets as it allows you to live with the product and it's smell for a bit and see if you really like it before committing to a larger bottle which always comes with a larger price tag…
Right, well the bottle itself is clear and round and nothing exciting with a simple black screw...

Rub a dub dub - I love a body scrub
Review of Boots Mediterranean Sugar Mint Body Scrub by
monstermuncher
Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Not effective as a body scrub
...I love body scrubs, and I tend to experiment with lots of different brands and styles. My most recent purchase was a Boots Mediterranean Melon Sugar Mint Body scrub. This is from the Boots new 'Mediterranean' range, which are a selection of products with natural and organic ingrediants. They only sell one size in this product - 200ml (or 6.7 fluid ounces). Now, for those of you who don't know your body scrub pack sizes I'd estimate that's enough for around 8 uses.
I bought this on a 3 for 2 offer, which I think is still on, and it's normal price is £3.85. So, as far as the cost it's a middle of the range purchase.
The packaging is nice and simple, and being a complete sucker for earth friendly products, the fact that the ingredients are organic really appealled to me.
The principle of this product is that it's main contents...

A little can go a long way!
Review of Boots Mediterranean Massage Butter by
chunkieuk
Advantages: Non-greasy, long-lasting moisturise, lovely fragrance
Disadvantages: Tub instead of tube, retail outlet availability
...to be moisturised. Because this is not a lotion, your ability to spread the product over a wider area once it's on your skin is a bit more limited, but not impossible, which is why I chose to go for the dotting approach.
Overall, the massage body butter is actually aimed pregnant women, particularly those suffering from dry skin, but I do feel that non-pregnant women with normal skin would be losing out on something in life if they didn't give this a try, precisely because it seems to work so well and with any variation in amounts you actually apply to yourself.
I'm afraid I can't comment on the claim that this member of the Boots Mediterranean range can aid the minimisation of stretch marks, as I'm not pregnant myself, nor has my own Christmas indulgence put this to the test, but given the fact that my skin is definitely feeling softer and more...
