I when back to Vision Express after an hour and her glasses were ready, they fitted them and had to adjust them a bit…….she looked very cute in them may I add. Morgan's second pair would be ready in a couple of days Vision Express said they phone me when her second pair was ready. Vision Express called me after a couple of days and I collected Morgan's glasses. My summary on Vision Express. Very helpful Very understanding Kept their word Fantastic Since Morgan has had her glasses she's broken them, scratch them, needed them re-adjusting and lost a screw, Vision Express has repaired them with no problems in minutes and are very patience with my little destructive daughter. ...to my weirdly shaped corneas making them drop out on occasion. Also being a lazy student I simply could not be bothered with cleaning them and actually putting them in. Being an arts student I often studied in bed in the morning (that is if I got up in the morning…) so I went without fairly often. So three months later I decided to go back to my trusty spectacles. Obviously now I was used to being able to see all the time so I started wearing glasses all day. To me this was better than contact lenses because you could simply put them on or take them off at will, and you could still see all the time. The only problem I have with glasses is that it hampers my pool playing ability as the break between where the glasses end and the uncorrected sight starts makes me see totally distorted. ...We purchased this kettle a little over 2 years ago and until it broke gave us many problems. Although it looked great it was a horrible kettle to use Morphy Richards is a well respected name (purchased a morphy richards manhattan now) in the small home electrical market and from the out look this kettle is another good one, but how wrong we were. ...Hum, Ouija, meaning ‘Yes, Yes’. Getting straight to the point, I have done this when I was about 14 years old. I was with about 5 other people and it was a holiday break from school. My friend, Emma, who lives opposite me, invited us into her house for the purpose of doing Ouija board. We all went upstairs whilst Emma gathered the relevant equipment. She came upstairs with everything bar the glass. We sent her back downstairs for the glass, and she returned with a crystal wine glass. We all started trying to will some spirits out, and nothing was happening. Then as time went on, being youngsters, some people started pushing the glass themselves. ...I bought this fridge just before Christmas to replace another Hotpoint unit as part of a re-furbishment to my kitchen. The previous fridge was also a larder type but I wanted one with a bit more capacity and boy did I get one! This fridge is cavernous and easily swallows up food from a hungry family of four. The glass shelves are deep and easy to clean although I do feel a bit worried that they might break when placing glass items on them.I don't think this is the case though as they are constructed of quite thick safety glass. I like the bottle rack which my previous fridge didn't have and by using this I free up a lot more shelf space for other items. The fridge has plenty of salad bins(1 large & 2 small) which makes the storing of fruit and salad items very easy. The big plus however with this unit is the size of the main door shelf... ...I recently bought the new Fairy Extra Hygiene Liquid as it was on special offer, being new and all that. I am very impressed with it , you don't need much liquid with the water as it does get very very soapy and the dishes got very slippy (hence breaking a glass with a slippy plate). It advertises itself as an antibacterial liquid and I can well believe it. Its smell is pleasant and the orange colour to me is a lot better that the normal green fairy liquid. I would recommend that you try this new product as it has excellent value for money and lasts for a very long time.... Read review

Because he has bad hand movements and takes tremors he was always breaking the glasses and they were forever getting repaired so he ended up not bothering with them Wee know the staff in Vision Express in Stirling pretty well by now as all the family go to them as they are so good .the shop is in the Thistle Marches Shopping Centre In the Centre of Stirling and is so easy to get to as there is an underground car park. Ross was trying all the frames on as he waited for his appointment with the Optometrist and the two assistants were giving him their opinion. He is six feet tall with dark brown (almost black) hair and he really looked good with quite a small metal-framed pair. He then got his eyes tested and was advised to get them as he had astigmatism in his left eye which was being made worse by sitting... Read review

...this year I was struck that how I was almost hermetically sealed in by the music, how totally I became lost in it and it was perhaps the best piece of live music I have ever experienced of any kind. Solo Piano has the same hermetically sealed feel to it; it wraps itself around you and thoroughly engulfs you despite the simplicity of the music, which bares a certain similarity with Satie, though in essence rather than actuality. The recording, played by Glass himself has a real sense of emotional clarity and almost personal nature to it, I feel as if Glass is playing to me alone. For the most part Solo Piano is made up of Metamorphosis, a piece which breaks down into 5 movements: Metamorphosis 1-5, each of which last between 5 to 7 minutes. ...where the correct note, played barely at all works with such emotional impact that you wonder how on earth it is possible. Several low horn notes ripple out from Opening and for about 25 seconds we are treated to this beautiful repeating motif of notes that eventually return to break up on the flow of Floe. Glass breaks up the music, which crashes in, swathes of competing, encompassing and encasing instruments: keyboards, saxophone, clarinet and strings. The effect may be a little too much for some Glass beginners but the overall effect is in stark contrast to Opening, as it explores the more complex side of Glass and is reminiscent in several places to moments in The Photographer. Like all of the pieces on Glassworks, Floe runs for about six or seven minutes. Never outstaying its welcome it also doesn't linger for too short a duration... Read review

...I had managed to go nearly 6 years without breaking my glasses or remembering to have a check up. However, as summer advances, I thought it might be worth investing in some prescription sun glasses. Vision express had a deal on with these, so I thought I'd give them a try. Most people have to pay for eye checks and glasses. You get it for free if you are a child or student, if you are on benefits, or if you, or a close family member suffers from Glaucoma or diabetes. I was paying. Vision Express eye tests - it took less than 24 hours to get an appointment, which was excellent. The test itself took about half an hour, and I will freely admit that I hated large parts of it - I don't enjoy having lights shone into my eyes, but this is unavoidable sadly.
