The Great O.C
Review of The O.C. - Series 2 - Complete (Box Set) by  Trevorb33

Advantages: Great Characters, So many beautiful people
Disadvantages: Predictable in places but still seems fresh

...downside is the pretty poor extra features. THE BOX SET ITS SELF As you can see from the picture at the top of the review and one i posted at the bottom of the review the box set comes in a very nicely put together display box, where it fits its six dvd's in perfectly it is a lovely colour blue in a similar style to the first series but in a contrasting colour, it also has a very nice picture on the front of the box showing most of the cast, it has a very nice pull out inside aswell which gives you a good episode guide aswell. MUSIC OF THE O.C The O.C has been a trend setter in the musical department since the first series, in the second series it feature some great up and coming band including the Killers and the Walkmen, both of course actually play in the Club on the Beach in the O.C episodes. Some of this music has been... Read review

ROUND 2 & RICHADA's STILL SUFFERING W.C. FEVER!
Review of Spacemonkey's World Cup Challenge by  RICHADA

Advantages: This One's a Knockout! GOOD LUCK AMAZINGWOO!
Disadvantages: The Original Was Billed As My One And Only Sports Review!

...! Over the years I must have test driven a couple of hundred different cars at this establishment, and in all honesty, can offer you a very good driving assessment of each one, thanks to this amazing facility. It is an eight mile journey, around the "Alpine Circuit" - a tortuous series of steep hills, hairpin bends and wicked descents and then out onto the huge circular speed bowl to test a cars' cruising capabilities at 100mph. All of this is accomplished in complete safety as these are closed roads and all traffic moves in the same direction. I have taken criticism in another, darker, place for writing car reviews on the basis of very few miles experience behind the wheel. Fair enough, you do learn a lot from living long term with a car, with that I cannot argue. However, having a test track such as this at your disposal, where you can... Read review

Footballers Wives Series 4 DVD
Review of Footballers' Wives - The Complete Series 4 (Box Set) by  lilyellowfish

Advantages: Entertaining, fantastic drama
Disadvantages: Only has 9 episodes

...that it is as good as previous series. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How Series 3 ended ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shannon had been out with the Footballers Wives before the final game and had still not got used to the life and the way to act as a footballers wife, she took advantage of all the free champagne and had way too much to drink, resulting in her collapsing in the toilets and missing Harley's goal, they have a huge argument and Shannon decides to go out clubbing on her own - not a good idea in the state she is in. While in the glitzy, celebrity club Shannon sees Darius who tries to kiss her which is caught on camera by some girls in the club who send the photos straight to the newspapers. The pictures are plastered all over the next days newspapers and Harley sees a picture of Shannon kissing Darius and immediately assumed Shannon was cheating on him... Read review

You are my Albion, my only Albion...
Review of West Bromwich Albion by  Shellywba

Advantages: Bryan Robson, Zoltan Gera, The badge, the loyal fans
Disadvantages: Andy Johnson, the ground is old and needs a paint job, glory-hunting fans

...- THE CLUB - West Bromwich Albion were formed in 1878, but they didn't call themselves West Bromwich Albion, no. They called themselves the West Bromwich Strollers. Which is a far cry from the Strollers! Our first 'ground' was Bunns Field, which I suppose is a bit different to our ground, the Hawthorns. Although I am not sure how better it is! Anyway, we'll talk more of the grounds later. We first won the F.A. Cup in 1888, beating Preston North End 2-1. Unfortunately, in the same cup, they knocked us out in the Semi's the following year! We've had seasons, going up, going down, but last season saw us pull off the Great Escape. The only football team EVER to be bottom of the league at Christmas and to stay up. - THE GROUNDS - As I mentioned earlier, our first ground was Bunn Fields, which we moved to in 1881. In 1882, we moved... Read review

Bottom Series 3 Spoiled
Review of Bottom Series 3 by  bigdgaff

Advantages: Great to watch with mates and a beer or ten
Disadvantages: You lose track of time watching it

...they pay, they rush home to revise. Arriving back at the pub for the quiz, they try buying more drinks with forged money. When dick threatens them with death, Eddie gives him a leftover gold tooth. Sitting at the table they decide to sabotage everyone else’s buzzers, so they could win more easily. Eddie started with the nurse’s table, then he did the C.I.D.’s table. While Eddie was doing that, Richie brought a trolley load of encyclopaedias in and hid them in the toilets. Returning to their seats, the quiz begins. After a few questions, most of the other contestants have been electrocuted thanks to Eddie’s handiwork. By 10:30pm the only team left is Richie’s team. They still cannot get a question right. After being asked another question, Richie sneaked into the toilets to look up the answer while Eddie... Read review

Scrubs - The Complete First Series
Review of Scrubs - Series 1 (Box Set) by  Dougie_III

Advantages: Zany, Hilarious
Disadvantages: I can honestly say there are none

..."Scrubs" is the brainchild of Bill Lawrence. The story follows the progress of a group of medical interns and is told via the inner monologue of the main character, John 'J.D.' Dorian (Zach Braff). JD is a doctor while his room-mate and best friend Christopher Turk (Donald Faison) is a surgical intern who has his gaze firmly set on two things: becoming the best surgeon at Sacred Heart hospital, and nurse Carla Espinoza (Judy Reyes). J.D. gets by with the begrudged help of his 'Mentor', the very wise but equally rebellious, Dr. Perry Cox (John C. McGinley) while fellow intern Dr. Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke) plays the love interest. J.D. and Elliot quickly develop a friendship with J.D. while this leaves the latter pining to be more than just friends. This develops into the familiar 'will-they-won't-they' pattern perfected by Ross... Read review

C3 - Flawed Genius & Floored Accelerator Pedals
Review of Citroen C3 by  BNibbles

Advantages: Long distance ride comfort
Disadvantages: Not so hot on corners, flimsy interior build

.... However, we found we could use level three after a few minutes of ‘full blast’. SUMMING UP UK versions of this car start at around £8600, although its difficult for me to say which version we had, or even if it’s available in ‘cooler’ countries, where base models don’t usually get air-conditioning as standard. At a guess, I’d say ours was one above base, with the CD player and air-conditioning specified as extras. If you want a small family car that’s comfortable to ride in over long distances, even for tall people, then the C3 is worth a test drive at least. Of course, the downside of this suavity is a distinct lack of hard cornering ability, but everything in life; car handling included, is a compromise. At least all the passengers get what my wife calls the ‘Oh Sh**!’ handles to hang onto. The Nissan Micra TV ad of a couple... Read review

Class With A Capital C
Review of The K-Club by  the_mad_cabbie

Advantages: Too many to list
Disadvantages: You need a very "flexible" friend indeed to afford this place!!

...Introduction <><><><><> ~ ~ Anyone who hasn’t already heard of the K-Club will do so in spades over the next few years, as this is the Irish golf course chosen as the venue for the 2005 Ryder Cup, the bi-annual match between the professional golfers from the USA and Europe, and the most prestigious team event in World golf. ~ ~ The K-Club was the brainchild of Dr. Michael Smurfit, a multi-millionaire in the packaging and print industries, and a well known and much admired figure on both the Irish and the international social circuit. ~ ~ It opened its doors for play as recently as 1991, and was based on the same idea that had already proved so popular for its great rival down in Co. Kilkenny, the marvellous and world renowned Mount Juliet. The idea behind both developments was simple enough. A golf course of the very... Read review
