...This review is on the twenty first James Bond film "Casino Royale", directed by Martin Campbell and starring Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and Eva Green. The film was released in 2006 and was based on the novel by Ian Fleming. Casino Royale had previously been produced twice before, once in 1954 as a television programme and again in 1967 as a comedy version. The initial idea was to have Casino Royale released much earlier, but due to copyright of the name, they had to wait some time before they could make this film. The 21st Bond film also introduced a new member of the bond family and became the sixth James Bond. I was quite spectacle about this film at first, largely because it introduced a new Bond. ...The main figure James Bond; Daniel Craig (already known for action films Tomb Raider' (2001, Simon West) and Layer Cake' (2004, Matthew Vaughn) and the future creations His Dark Materials' (2007, Chris Weitz) which I am really looking forward to, is represented throughout the film as an inimitable agent. Craig is represented as a contrast to the other Bonds because he is just commencing work for MI6, whereas the others were conveyed as developed agents with years of experience. Craig in Casino Royale' starts off by having to earn his Double-0 status, he is later represented as vulnerable, which although we have had insights to the characters emotional side in the series; in Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997, Roger Spottiswoode) one close up angle of Brosnan sitting on the beach thinking demonstrates that he cannot control his feelings... Advantages: A GREAT "REBOOT" OF THE BOND FRANCHISE!!!
Disadvantages: SOME CONFUSING TIMELINE ISSUES - BUT THAT'S ALL!

...I know that reviews of Casino Royale are popping up all over the place right now but I simply wouldn't have been able to forgive myself if I didn't put my own opinion of it forward. From my childhood up to the present day, I have always been fascinated by James Bond. I always loved watching the Bond movies and through the years had every official Bond movie on video and then eventually on DVD. I think it's just a guy thing… I'm sure there would be few men out there who would say that they wouldn't like to be James Bond. Okay maybe not in reality as most of us probably wouldn't last long at all but it can't be denied that any actor that has ever played Bond doesn't have the best job in the world while the role is theirs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- THE NOVEL... Advantages: Cheap, all inclusive, large bar area
Disadvantages: Noisy, small pool area for size of Hotel

...on their balconies you will hear them ,believe me. You also have access to sister hotel in area, we did not use this so I can't comment on that sorry. Nor can I comment on casino joining on as kids not allowed in, hence hotel name. Overall we got what we paid for, cheap and cheerful, would personally avoid summer season as it could prove too noisy for families, this view shared by others we spoke to. Having said all this if you want a cheap get away in kids hols then you could do a lot worse, young people could use this Hotel as a base if you want cheap food and drink and somewhere to put your head in the morning after clubbing.
