...General I spent a long time looking around for my MP3 player. Both friends and family had all went for Apple iPods and the pressure was on so to speak. No question the iPod looks, well used to look sexy, and it had the backing of one of the worlds leading technology companies, but no matter what way I looked at it as an option it just not tickle me. I was on holiday in Crete last September (2006) and we flew through Gatwick, with a bit of time to kill I smoozed around a leading tech chain store and saw my first Creative ZEN Vision:M, and I was won over with the beauty, symmetry, and in general sheer simple sexiness of the Zen. ...I purchased a Creative Zen Touch from the internet a couple of months ago, and it has proved to be a great MP3 player. It has a nice design with a 'brushed metal' feel around the edges, and a smooth feel in the center. I purchased the 20GB version, which offers a huge capacity for storing music, and files as well. [CAPACITY vs PRICE] Compared to Apple's iPod, the Creative Zen Touch offers more space for the money you pay. For example, I purchased the Zen touch for about £150, while at that time, the iPod 20GB version was available for about £200. ...My search for MP3's began on Ciao and I read around a variety of reviews and asked the reviewers some questions which I needed answering. The most important question for me was 'How can I play this in my car?' but more about that later. I visited Curry's and had a look at a few but was really impressed with the chunky little Zen Micro thingy that fitted comfortably into the palm of your hand. This was the one! After searching the internet for decent prices I went onto the Creative website and actually ended up purchasing the little beast through one of their approved stores, and at the cheapest price I had seen as well, thumbs up from me. Advantages: Great battery life, easy to use and attractive design

...I've wanted an MP3 player for a while now, and recently bought myself a Creative Zen Touch, on the advice of my ex-boyfriend who assured me that they were the best on the market. As I was determined to get anything other than an iPod, I agreed to try it out. So what is my verdict? Let's cover the basics of the Zen Touch. Creative has managed to secure itself a pretty good reputation in the MP3 field, and while Apple still reigns surpreme other companies such as Creative and IRiver are finally beginning to give Apple a run for it's money. The Zen Touch measures 106mm by 68mm by 24mm, which is quite bulky when compared to others on the market - it's also considerably heavy to someone used to a midget mobile phone.
