...Singapore has no shortage of hotels, specially along Orchard Road, which is the main shopping area and one of the magnets attracting visitors to Singapore for the past few decades. There are all the international brand names as well as the regional ones and individual, independent hotels. On this visit to Singapore, I needed a hotel just for the night as I was arriving in the evening and departing early the next morning and I needed this part of the city. The location was ideal, the price was good, and so here I was. ...Prince of Persia 2: Sands of time (PoP) is one of the best games was one of the best games that i have ever set my hands on. The graphics, storlyine, and gameplay all come together to make this, deservedly, one of the highest rated adventure games ever released on ANY console experience. Playability : playability is one of this games strong points, you can fight mulitple opponents at once with out it becoming a button bashing frenzy, however is not as slow as games like final fantasy. Also there is a wide range of moves for you to do, such as freeze time and go back in time. Addictiveness : A brilliant game, but not one that has me running back all the time. ...Prince Edward County is a small County in Ontario, which has managed to remain relatively unscathed by development and urban society, although it is quickly climbing up the property ladder and being seen as a haven away from the day-to-day hustle of big cities like Toronto. ...that was borne out most strikingly when plans for the Crown Towers Complex were first tabled over a decade ago. To say the proposal was controversial is to put it mildly. A massive area, occupying almost the entire south bank of the Yarra River in the city centre, was to be given over to a Casino, Hotel and Entertainment Complex; a gargantuan monument to excess, extravagance and bad-taste. It was to be a $1 billion development, featuring a 1000-room hotel, a massive virtual-reality cinema and entertainment centre, ballrooms, a 1500 seat banqueting hall, a rooftop garden and internal shopping arcade. THE OPENING: Once completed, the complex seemed to confirm most of the old guard's gravest suspicions. ...I’ve complained before to all the good people on Ciao about not being much of a fan of Melbourne. It’s just one of those cities that doesn’t grab me. There is a local tension between Sydney people and Melbourne people, each side saying their city is the best and it’s true that Melbourne was once voted the most liveable city in the world. Although it’s got many things going for it, it’s just not for me. It was with some reluctance then that I spent a few days there last week for work. On Thursday night I had a colleague with me so when we’d finished the daily drudge of meetings we thought we’d have a night on the town. ...History Prince of Persia is a series spanning over many years. With the first game created by Jordan Mechner. It was a 2D platform game that consisted of jumping up, hanging down and jumping over spikes, through deadly metal teeth and some fights with pretty naff looking swords.
