Advantages: absolute quality club anthems

...In the mad world of club land there is so many different styles of music varying from pop , house , Hardhouse , Garage , Trance , Old Skool etc. So choosing a top ten isn't a easy choice and because my music style sways more to the trance and hard house scene these choices wont be to everyones taste. ...if you were having a house party,to actually watch the music video as well as listen too it. This has a mix of the songs off both cd's such as Camille jones v fedde le grand~the creeps Cascada~miricle mason v princess superstar~perfect Eric pryds~call on me Bob sinclair&cutee b~rock this party Sharam~PATT So all in all well worth the money with new and classic anthems from cascada, alex gaudino,free mason,william orbit and paul oakenfold and plenty more. If you like your dance/club music this is the album for you!!! And at 80 mins per Cd it should keep you dancing around the house for a while.... Read review

...catchy dance tune of the nineties. It’ll have me on the dance floor in seconds. ‘AHHH AHH AHHH AHHHH AHHH AHHHHHHHAHAAA I LUV U BABY, I LUV U BABY’ Ahem, yep this track is one that has to be included in the top ten club anthems for me. 9 Daft Punk ‘One More Time’ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This track makes me think of ‘Satellite’ at Media, which used to be by favourite night till they replaced it with the vastly inferior ‘Mother’. This song was always played on this night, and seeing as we went every week, I’ve probably heard the song hundreds of times. I love Daft Punk but not many of their songs are played in clubs, but this one is an exception. 8 N-Trance ‘Set U Free’ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Another old-skool track which you can’t help... ...Well, this all depends on the kind of club you go to, doesn’t it. Knowing nothing of the dance/pop scene, I cannot write about club anthems as it is implied. Also, I don’t like the word ‘anthem’. So here is my ‘rock club anthems’, a collection of some of the better songs you are guaranteed to hear at a rock club. These aren’t necessarily my favourite songs but they are pretty good. Fear Factory – Lynchpin This is actually a superb song. With double speed kick drumming, great beat and superb guitars this is a truly great electro metal song. Will fill the dance floor with true metalheads playing air-guitar and head banging. “You can’t take me apart”. I always feel that the line “without me, you will fade, you will not remain” describes how I feel... Read review

...Oh yes now this is more like it. Picture this absolute drunk and having no control of your body and your best tunes come on . The tingle down your spine and the smile on your face and you like a person possesed the feeling is just beyond amazing. Music plays such a important part of my life as it helps me to get through the day and no matter how bad im feeling a good anthemitic tune always does the trick. I usually listen to a lot of hard house and I can hear you thinking how can you listen to that garbage but hey everyone has different music tastes. But I dont always listen to hard house as it would drive even me barmy.So i listen to a wide range of music but club anthems always get me going the most. They travel the states pulling off memorable events with all the many types of sounds and here in the UK we get the very best of it by having the albums which are of course their most successful mixes. ...I could easily name about 200 of my favourite club tracks. And I know that once I hit submit I will say to myself 'oh no, I forgot about...' So here goes anyway (In no particular order) Delerium - Silence Not that crap remix that made it into the charts, the proper original. Johnny shaker - Pearl River Not very well known but it should be cos it is an excellent track with good vocals. Thick Dick - Insatiable A more relaxed chilled out kind of tune, great for the start of the night. System F - Cry One of the best vocal house tracks I have ever heard. Lasgo - Something Cheesy, commercial dance at its best. Jinny - Keep Warm Really good old school track. ..., but notable mention must go to the following tunes that narrowly missed a place in the chart: DJ Misjah and DJ Tim – Access Nasty hard house rave anthem that will probably give you a nosebleed if you get with the beat. Lost Witness – Seven Colours Beautiful trance re-work of an old classic – the commercial mixes massacred the song, so it doesn’t quite make the top ten. Cappella – U Got 2 Know Defining moment in club history that played and played and played at Trade for about fifteen years (that’s what it felt like anyway). ...Yes, the time has come to write about ten anthems that have had an impact on my life. (I liked that opening sentence!) Anyway as a DJ I always intended writing about dance music and what it means to me. What better way than to write about the top ten club anthems in my opinion?
