Advantages: Fairly reliable easy to use software
Disadvantages: Slow, does fail sometimes

...I've used a ditto Easy 800 (external parellel version) for about 4 years now, it's currenly installed on an NT 4.0 Server (Which is also my desktop machine). It's set to do a scheduled backup of our network each night. It's pretty reliable although sometimes if the machine hasn't been rebooted for a while the backup will sometimes fail, either with or without an error message. (But I'm not sure if this is an Iomega problem or a Windows problem). I have only had a couple of problems with tapes breaking or going bad, but they are a few years old! Speed is a bit of an issue, doesn't matter for backups, 'cos they're unattended, but a bit frustrating when you need to d a restore. Overall not a bad drive, particularly as I can't afford a DAT drive.... Read review

Disadvantages: no direct flight to Prague

...I first flew DAT (Delta Air Transport) when I went to Prague with my boyfriend in late December. I originally booked with Sabena but was then told that Sabena had gone out of business, so as you can imagine we were a wee bit dubious when we booked on a DAT flight. DAT is based in Brussels and their slogan is DAT - reconnecting Brussels and that is exactly what they do. (Read below for a list of destinations.) The reason I chose to fly on DAT was because they were a lot cheaper than other airlines at that time of year, costing only £130. The flight stopped in Brussels and we were to connect to another DAT flight that would take us to Prague. All went very well indeed. The planes had lovely wide leather seats with lots of leg room. We were given drinks, sandwiches and chocolates to eat and the service was extremely professional... Read review

...I’m afraid I have to say that I have not been at all impressed with Mcafee Viruscan. Twice I have been infected by the kakworm (iloveyou) virus, despite having the latest .dat files installed, and twice I have had to use another package (in the last case Norton) to recover my computer after becoming infected. To say that I have been unamused would be an understatement , especially upon losing all images stored as .jpegs on my computer. I have found that in times of crisis the Mcafee site has been very slow, and support unhelpful. I would not object, accidents happen, but having paid for a resource and watching other packages deal with these viruses effectively I was very annoyed. The process of updating .dat files can be tiresome with older versions, but to be fair this has been rectified in later releases. Not recommended.... Read review

...download.com part of CNET.com, is a very good site to download softwaare and other stuff. It site is always up-to-date and very fast. I have never experienced it down, and has some very good servers. The range of products available to download is extraordinary, with descriptions of certain products and date of when it was added. You can use this site to find demos of the latest games, or to find updated DAT files for your anti-virus software. Go there. Try it out, your bound to find something there you need or like....
