Diesel has also recently begun to experiment in the profitable kids market with a really cool range of baby, toddler and kids clothes. This particular shop however does not stock any. The shop, a converted warehouse is also famous for its designer staircase, which has a down-to-earth yet mechanical feel to it. Possibly a bit like the clothes on offer as Diesel prides itself to design long lasting jeans a working person could wear over and over again. Advantages: Great Album, A must for all Saxon enthusiasts

...to Barnsley to see the band play at the town's Civic Hall and the rest as they say…is history. ~~Present Day~~ The line up has changed, since this album was produced and even though this has happened their music hasn't lost its edge. The band still tour and release albums and still have a hugely big fan base. ~~The Album~~ This album was produced in October 1981 and was solely dedicated to their fans and their style of dress, denim and leather. Saxon did a 46-date UK and European tour to go with this album and "Denim And Leather" proceeded to go silver in the UK and was well charted throughout Europe. ~~Inside~~ The Insert for this album is very basic. ...If there ever was a record that tried just a little too hard to represent the early 80s heavy metal phenomenon, but was nowhere near good or interesting enough musically to live up to this promise, it has to be Saxon's quintunessential 'Denim and Leather.' The band may be entirely forgotten today - they're still touring to a cult following - but these Yorkshiremen were once one of the biggest names in the home-grown New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement (NWOBHM). On its release in 1981, this album hit #9 and the single reached number 12. This means that, at one time, people were more interested in listening to Saxon than Tony Capstick & the Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band. Advantages: Strange and funny.

Good! David Sedaris is the brother of the quite well-know actress/comedienne Amy Sedaris, and even though not very many people in Europe know who he is he is huge in the US. I first saw him on a segment on the Letterman show and I immediately fell for his rather odd and dry sense of humour. On the show he did a short reading from this particular book, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and after that I “ran” to my favourite online bookstore to place an order. ...Way back in 1994 when this album was released, I was totally immersed in punk rock and spent far too much time visiting dodgy bars to watch smelly people play nasty music that no one else was going to hear about. I still do this it is strangely fulfilling........ But back in 1994 I had never heard of Turbonegro or as they were calling themselves at this time Stierkampf........ Fast forward to1997 the year I sold my soul to denim, everyone I knew was trawling e-bay for elusive bits of plastic released by Turbonegro, a friend of mine got the original copy of this album with the original artwork which was totally twisted......
