Ibis Paris Roissey Charles de Gaulle Paris
Review of Ibis Paris Charles de Gaulle Paris Nord 2, Roissy-en-France by
jdeacon_162
Advantages: Value for money
Disadvantages: High demand
...for families planing on taking a day trip to Disneyland Paris. Although perhaps it isnt suitable for those wishing to travel there everyday (or those without a car) as the journey isnt really desirable, its perfect for those who just want a day trip and the freedom to visit other tourist atractions. As well as this, although it may appear cheaper than the Disney hotels, you can get a Disney hotel and park admission package which is a lot cheaper than staying in Paris and paying to get in the park everyday.
This hotel has a reasonably priced restaurant as well as a separate bar. This is good as there arent many amenities in the area surrounding the hotel. However there is a room service facility operated by the friendly staff, but bear in mind this isn't 24 hour service.
The rooms are modern and well furnished. As well as being able to choose...

Notre Dame De Paris by Victor Hugo
Review of Notre-Dame of Paris - Victor Hugo by
Rettle1
Advantages: A beautifully real story that will rend the heart
Disadvantages: Some of the description can be a little long-winded
...Better known as The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Notre Dame de Paris was written by Victor Hugo as a tribute to the Parisian cathedral and the beauty of its lost Renaissance city.
The main character is Quasimodo, the grotesque hunchback and cathedral bell ringer, adopted as a baby and brought up by the serious-minded, emotionless archdeacon Claude Frollo.
Both Quasimodo and Frollo find themselves driven into a passionate obsession for a young and beautiful gypsy girl - Esmerelda.
But Esmerelda - kind-hearted but a little shallow - only has eyes for the handsome, vainglorious Captain Phoebus.
The complex, interweaving love story is bound to end in tragedy.
The richness of Hugo's narrative left me spellbound. Each and every character - especially Pierre Gringoire - a flawed, poverty stricken writer also in love with Esmerelda and lost...

Paris avec McDonalds
Review of General: France by
1234
Advantages: Paris is a very beautiful place to visit
Disadvantages: Just pay attention when taking the underground it can be scary sometimes
..., fascinating, so much to see, it is really impossible to do the whole Museum in one day, after that I decided to go walking from the Louvre to Champs Elysees where is the Arc de Triomphe and from there I walked to the Eiffel Tower. I was in Paris only for 2 days and it wasn't enough, but this was what I did for the first day, and for the second day I went to Disney which is very far from the town but my mission was to show to my little brother who has 15 years old everything that I possibly could. I simply adore Paris, but certainly it is not my brother's favourite place. His favourite place is McDonald's no matter where he is! This time Mc.Donald's - Paris. Ce la the artistic crepe avec banana? Ce la the Triomphe Big Mac? Ce la the Champs chips?

Review of Disneyland Paris by
zella123
Advantages: Fun, Exciting
Disadvantages: none

Firstly we went on the rides about 4 or 5 rides were fast but the,
others for just for little kides.
When we finshed some of the rides we went to the castle inde there were some rides and about 3 or 4 shops and if you go up stairs you can see stain glassed windows of the characters.
We came out of the castle we saw Mickey mouse and u could buy a autograph book that was 4.90 euro and the pen was 2.90euro, that u could get autographs from the characters.,
We got to meet all the characters but when we saw winnie the pooh nearly everone was there because they loved him somuch.
Then the clock stroke to 7pm and there was a parade that you can meet all the characters in, some of them were in big boats but they wern't in the water they were on the road.

love is in the air
Review of The Rugrats Movie (Animated) (Wide Screen) by
naryan1
Advantages: cute and wonderfully told.. an improvement on the first film.
Disadvantages: the do-good endings always seem to make me squerm... but that's just a minor flaw.
...boss lady of EuroReptarLand is CoCo Labouche (Susan Sarandon). She is an evil Paris person in spectacular clothes, and she schemes to marry Chuckie's dad in order to get a promotion she wants. None of the children can stand her, especially Chuckie.
After huge adventures in the way of foreign travel and saving adults from folly, the babies discover true love conquers all. Chuckie's dad ditches Coco and chooses the right woman.
Rugrats In Paris has all the pratfalls and visual humour children love, from sagging diapers to food fights. It also has plenty of laughs for the adults accompanying little viewers. Many of those laughs are at Disney's expense.
EuroReptarLand involves all the worst of Disney amusement parks in terms of visual overkill, cutesy rides and hideous theme songs.
Several sequences in this Rugrats outing also out-Disney...

disney this is not!
Review of Notre Dame de Paris / Dominion Theatre (London) by
joelamathews
Advantages: great musical
Disadvantages:
...Do not i repeat do not expect a disney show. The show is great as long as you can get out of your mind the disney version cos thta really does confuse the hell out of you! The performances are brilliant and the set amazing with the energy overflowing into the audeince. The famous star quality does give it an edge with tina arena giving a briliant performance. But all the performers do. The timing of the show is brilliant and the theatre well located next to tottenham court road tube station. The finishing time is around 10.30pm so there is time afterwards to eat but in the locality there is not much but work down charing cross road and you will hit china town or covent garen if you don't fancy a chinese....

the babies are back
Review of Rugrats In Paris - The Movie (Animated) (Wide Screen) by
naryan1
Advantages: wonderfully told story that'll be a gem on video
Disadvantages: woefully short on screen, and still has that "TV" feel of an episode.. you can just hear the tie ins coming...
...much of an impact — but the rhythms, characterizations, and fish-eye perspectives are still at work. Suffice it to say that the animated munchkins lay waste to the City of Lights in pursuit of ice cream and justice, the frequent song interludes will distract the kids (but send the adults into comas), and the anti-Disney satire rages as never before.
Set largely in EuroReptar, a Paris theme park built around the kids' favorite Japanese monster figure (but obviously an open mockery of EuroDisney), Rugrats in Paris possesses a surprising narrative shift: Wide-eyed, courageous Tommy Pickles, normally the show's Indiana Jones, takes a backseat to neurasthenic, bucktoothed scaredy-cat Chuckie, who, as you may recall from the show's napalm-like Mother's Day episode, has no mom. In Paris (where the four families have flocked when Tommy...

Disney Hotel Cheyenne, Wild Wild West!
Review of Hotel Cheyenne, Disneyland Paris, Paris by
iambigbrother2
Advantages: Clean Facilities, Fun settin
Disadvantages: Poor Breakfast Selection
...I went on a group visit to Business Live at Disneyland Paris at the beginning of March. Our accomodation was the Disney Hotel Cheyenne.
The hotel is not your standard 1 building hotel, it is a hotel spread across a wide area - in this case Wild West themed buildings like the Sherrif hut, Bar etc etc.
Our group was allocated block 16 - a nicely situated one near the bus stop. I was with 2 of my friends in which the bedrooms are made up of one bunk bed and one double bed - ideal for 2 kids 2 adults. The beds are nice and comfortable and ideal for collapsing onto after a day around the park.
The room is very basic. It has a cowboy boot lamp and various sherrif stars around the room. They don't supply kettles and tea for morning use (that could just be that we were students - I'm not sure if there is meant to be one there), they don...

RIDE WITH AEROSMITH!!! AT DISNEYLAND PARIS!!
Review of Rock & Roller Coaster,Walt Disney Studio, Disneyland Paris by
cooldude28
Advantages: One amazing coaster
Disadvantages: None
...The Rock n Roller Coaster, in Disneyland Paris, located in Walt Disney Studios is one of the fastest roller coasters at Disneyland Paris and has such a great personality. The roller coaster is based around the rock band, "Aerosmith". The roller coaster is called "Rock n Roller Coaster Avec Aerosmith".
It is located near the entrance to the Disneyland Paris entrance, near Disney Village which is a small village based on Disney, different characters. The ride is on the other side of the entrance, in the Walt Disney Studio. A map can be picked up for directions to this ride, and other rides.
Entry to Disneyland varies, but the price for a child's day entry to Disneyland Paris, or Walt Disney Studios is €25. I think the price is worth it, but if you are after a day full of rides, you are better of going to the main Disneyland Paris park...
