Advantages: Great beats and production

...The Games debut album 'The Documentary' is brilliant. Almost every song on the album can be listened to over and over again, and I know this is not just my opinion. At least 5 songs from this album have been released as singles and all have held their own, most notably the breakthrough single 'How We Do' which really opened the door for the Games success. The only worry about the album though is similar to that of Obie Trice following his debut album 'Cheers'; has its success come from the big names and producers involved? Production from Dre, Eminem and 50 including a lot of features provides some excellent songs but it doesn't show off the Game himself. ...The Documentary is the best West Coast street-rap album since DJ Quik's 2002 LP Under tha Influence. All of the G-Unit solo albums thus far have been aesthetically unified, a rarity in hip-hop; the tracks on The Documentary actually sound like they belong on the same album. Dre produces five of the album's 17 songs, applying his recent stripped-down cinematic style, and many of the record's other producers follow his lead. Superstar beatmakers like Timbaland and Kanye West hold back on their signature tics, fitting their usual approaches into the album's fabric. The end result is a rich, triumphant sonic tapestry; you can hear every dollar that went into it. The Game is not a particularly singular rapper. It was shot in l'Aveyron, a département of the Midi-Pyrénées region in southern France, named after the Aveyron river. Microcosmos was the first documentary, back in 1996, to use high-technology camera equipment to capture the infinitely small world of insects. Nowadays, the same techniques are applied in most TV documentaries concerning insects and animals. They seem to really be into the dinosaurs in a big way! I got there at 11:00, and left at about 15:30 I know some people can be a bit touchy about caged animals, and I am no exception, but most of the animal here would have been bred in captivity, or are “unwanted pets” if they are re-patriated and released into the wild, they probably wouldn’t last more than one night! ** Where is it? ** The park is situated just outside the town of Coombe Martin in a wooded hilly valley, on the North Devon coast, it is on the A399. ...-pex predator of the sea, the great white sharks, as they came in for seals. During the filming of this Documentary a trajadey struck the world, Steve Irwin was fatally wonded, his heart was peirced in a freak accident encounter with a Bull Ray, whose tail spine was pushed directally into Steves Heart causing him to die from cardiac arrest, on board CrocOne a few minutes after. His loss hit the world hard, as his father said, "we shouldnt be sorry for steve being gone but we should be sorry for the animals he wont be able to save anymore, because they lost the best friend they ever had". All of the encounter was captured by the camera man, showing the last few seconds of the greatest Conservationalist to have ever lived's life. None of the filming done on that day September 4, was shown on this video, and the death tape was reportably destroyed... Read review

Advantages: Beautiful creatures who all add value to our world
Disadvantages: Many are becoming endangered so why does man behave the way he does

...this a strange choice, as they are deemed ugly and dinosaur like. They became one of my favourite animals after I watched a documentary about them. Elephant herds are all female (the males just return to breed) and are family members i.e.: all related to each other. I was particularly moved by what happens when one of the herd dies. They will all gather around as if mourning their loss, then they attempt to cover the body before standing vigil for hours on end. A moving display of love. One thing I can’t tolerate is the hunting of elephants for use of their ivory tusks. This practice has been banned but when watching documentaries I have learnt that this doesn’t deter poachers. It seems that banning it has meant that the ivory that can be obtained is even more valuable – supply and demand I suppose! DOLPHINS... Read review
